Survey cold callers who won't take a polite no thank you and continue jabbering on making it necessary to put the phone down on them. Don't like doing it as they are only doing their job.Main ones at the moment are for Life Insurance or COVID jabs. Do they/ are they? Easy answer is dont answer the phone to anyone you dont know. If it's important they will leave a message and you can ring them back if needs. Served me well over the years saved me loads of wasted time.

M.Feeney starts for me. Could Nurse get some minutes? The new kid from Chelsea Debuts? Surely Nurse has to get some minutes even if it's just the last 10 or so. If not it's quite worrying.

Yes I did see doug rougvie, and Moyes play.... remember rougvie kicking andy gray up the ass when he played for west brom...gray never went anywhere near him again...infact they took him off..scared to death!!!....I also seen Alan Finlay, and Darren Kemp son play at centre half....toto and Pierre ain't half bad compared to those 2 !!!!🤦🤦 Finley wasnt that bad. Was struggling at times but we were playing most of his time in the league above where we are now.

people who don't indicate when leaving a roundabout, so I'm sitting there in case I have to give way like an idiot, not able to pull out until you've cruised off on your merry way - absolutely boil my p**s, it's so selfish and just apalling driving. OH YES.......big time. Just SOOOO annoying this one. Completely oblivious to anything but themselves. Amazing that a car can actually come with indicators in this day and age. Yes even BMWs do have them if you look carefully.

All the remaining clubs in Europe are aiming for a place in the group stages, win this tie (with the return next week) and you are there.
Results of the 1st leg Europa League Plzen (Chech Rep) 1-0 Hearts PAOK (Greece) 4-0 Shamrock Rovers
Conference League Panevezys (Lithuania) 0-3 TNS Kobenhavn (Denmark) 2-0 Kilmarnock St Patrick's 0-0 Basaksehyr (Turkey) Chelsea 2-0 Servette (Switzerland) Red Imps (Gibraltar) 2-1 Larne
All very much in with a chance except Shamrock Rovers. TNS look very likely to become the first Welsh club to get into European group stages, Larne will look to become the first N Ireland side too.

Crikey when was the last time we sold out an allocation to season ticket holders alone? Very pensive about the day itself but after 16 or however many years since we were last there, felt like I couldn't miss this one. I'd probably take doing the double against them and going down tbh. Dont think you need worry about doing the double over them, the other option is very likely on the cards however.....

Going to be some goalkeeoer superstition no doubt. some of us are old enough to remember when only time yellow keeper kits were allowed were in Internationals Wasnt there a regulation that keepers could only wear green, blue, red or white? Back in the 70s or thereabouts.

Killian Phillips has joined Idowu at St Mirren. Initially on loan but then joins permanently next summer. Killian Phillips and Idowu are very different standards. Surprised at Phillips not going higher than that tbh.

As a ground we've never (I think?) played at I think we played there in their first season there in 95. But yeah for lots of fans it will be a new ground Yep, I was there 2 Jan 95. Lost 2-1 but memorable for the Chris Withe chicken goal celebration. Think they went up via the play offs as we didnt play them the following season. Huddersfield also memorable for us doing the double over them a few years earlier at their old ground. Both to the tune on 5-1. I was only at the home game for that.

Or even put them all into one thread which you can avoid if you want to.
If other threads bring up the subject move those posts into the main thread.
It's just tiring to read the same thing on several threads as they move OT.

At the moment I just want to block any threads that descend into a debate about the sale of the club. The subject has been done to death and it's just becoming boring now.
I dont want to block any member personally, their views on other matters isnt an issue. Just dont want to see us going over the same ground on several threads at a time.

I'm sure you can all guess at which threads I want to avoid seeing......

I am sorry to hear this I hope you get the surgery soon Thanks Zen,there are benefits to it. For example I can't go to any matches until after my operation as I cannot sit in one position for very long and I doubt that I would be allowed to bring my walking frame into the ground 😉😉😩🙄 Still with the current form its clouds and silver linings..hey ho 😁 Good thing to stay away. Even with a walking frame you might get a place on the bench, probably still give Nsiala and Pierre a run for their money over 100mts.

An attendance of around 1200 would suggest that the Wycherley stand was about half full, and it clearly fails the basic eyesight test on that, all blocks looked a third full at best. I expect we lost money putting that show on last night, it’s high time the competition was put to bed or significantly changed. There's money to be made in this competition, I think someone posted earlier what the EFL pay out, it's certainly worth being in. Plus, Nurse, Feeney, Winchester, etc. may well be reintroduced after injury with a run out in this competition and it gives the contracted players and loanees a chance to measure up against top class I21s The other big plus you didnt mention, a chance to see if there are any suitable young loanees to try and entice here the next time the transfer window opens.

Blackpool having lost their first two League games have sacked manager Neil Critchley. Shocking. Just 2 games in, laughable.

Enlighten me on the positives, because that last sentence in your comment kind of sums things up. Pierre looked very sharp Savin's distribution was great again, one throw put Sagoe clean through Saved a pen which will boost Savin's confidence Biggins was a lot more involved than I have seen him be recently with some positive play and decent interceptions, hopefully we are beginning to see what he is about. We actually had a pattern of play that created space Sagoe Jr was brilliant and a constant threat, his link up play with Benning improved a lot throughout the match O'Reilly looked hungry and made a fair few chances out of nothing (when was the last time we had a player like that) We made a bucket load of chances Savin had bugger all to do most of the night (one horribly deflected goal and the other goal was the only time in the night our defence got took apart) The players had another game to gel and to increase fitness levels. Obviously there are also negatives but it was an irrelevant game after a poor start to the season so I think it would be more beneficial to focus on the positivise. Stop being positive. This thread isnt about being positive 😀

I remember when Jake King took the reins at the Gay Meadow. He raided his old club Telford for his first signings and a respected Coach said to me, “if you sign too many players from the Conference, you will end up playing in the Conference. I think that still applies now - sign enough from Bargain basement and you Wii end up playing at their level! Would have been interesting taking our place this season in the LOI....😀

15 goals a season. We had one in Udoh, then we took his striker partner away and asked him to do it all on his own. And guess what.... stat time Udons best season , goal every 180mins Ivan Toney goal every 274 mins in his 19 games for us That's 1 in every 2 full games then for Udoh that season. But the point I was making was that he was much more prolific playing alongside another striker. Take that away and ask him to play up front on his own he was far less impressive.

Funny how opinions differ but when we had him he was barely past 20, yet scored seven goals in about half a season at league one level in a struggling team. I remember him been a decent finisher, what else do we want or expect from a young loan striker than a goal return of about one in three games? Imagine what we'd give now for a 15 goal a season loan player. 15 goals a season. We had one in Udoh, then we took his striker partner away and asked him to do it all on his own. And guess what....

O'Brien possibly the most unpopular STFC player of all time ? Before anyone says it I thought Victor Kasule was a reasonable town player . Victor Kasule wasnt an unpopular player by any means. Cant think of anyone as unpopular as OBrien by the end of his time here.

Maybe one of the lowest gates at the new ground. Likely few if any away fans. Those who boycott the tournament. Not a priority for us this season (sooner we are done with it this year for me). Probably half the attendance of the friendlies if we are lucky. I'll go for 1,235 Why not 1,234 ??

Let us hope we have a reasonable turn out for tonight, it must be rather discouraging to come out the tunnel to a nearly empty stadium but I also appreciate money is tight and this competition is not everyones cup of tea Maybe one of the lowest gates at the new ground. Likely few if any away fans. Those who boycott the tournament. Not a priority for us this season (sooner we are done with it this year for me). Probably half the attendance of the friendlies if we are lucky.
