Another game tomorrow, very low key build up and very low ticket sales so far - hopefully we can at least get the same amount as vs Notts County, have a reasonably full South Stand and get some good suppprt for the team. A few options for selection but not sure how Hurst will approach it with those who’ve had their injury issues:
Savin
Hoole - Nsiala - Pierre - Benning
Winchester - Perry
O’Reilly - Shipley - Sagoe Jr
Marquis
Subs - Young, MFeeney, Nurse, Biggins, Lloyd, Bloxham, maybe Castledine and maybe Kayode,
Prediction - I think it could be penalties again.

I believe it's a good thing we are keeping this low-key...it's actually a relatively big game and we don't need the extra pressure!
If we progress...all the Prem join in the 3rd round. Draw is Wednesday @ 9.45pm after the Notts Forest match.

I think that you are right on the selection with Sagoe Jr being replaced on 60 minutes by Castledine with Shipley then going out to the left and Castledine being the number 10. Not sure where Biggins fits in now.

dont forget, every game is live on sky, a competition the premier league want scrapped, no better way to discourage all concerned than giving no prize money , and allowing fans to not buy a ticket but to stay at home instead

But surely the Club gets some money from Sky for the match being shown live?

M.Feeney starts for me.
Could Nurse get some minutes?
The new kid from Chelsea Debuts?

Suppose it might depend on the contents of the match situation.

I’m sure I read somewhere prize was given, albeit small

Once upon a time the league cup was a valued competition.
There used to be great games midweek on Sportsnight.

Can’t be blamed really. Even the Papa John Trophy money dwarfs the league cup, shocking really.

Glad to see Perry has kept his starting place from the weekend. Interesting to see how the new boy from Chelsea gets on.
Come on Town! ⚽️

What does Tom Bloxham do to be selected? Be pretty much the only RW option. Yes we’ve got TOR but we really need to monitor his minutes & the risk of picking up an injury in a game like this just isn’t worth thinking about
