Of course it is.
I want all the players to be at the top level of their fitness that is possible. So why wouldnt you start with the ones you have to start with even though you know more will be coming in.

Suppose we'll have to see how good this oconkedout isπ€π€π Wasnβt overly impressed in the cup game.9 And that was with our attack. Hopefully the better teams next season will find him (& their defence) out fairly regularly. Their defence didnt always look too convincing in some games in L2.

Not one of them worth voting for imo. All shiesters.

Staff are brilliant and doing their best under very difficult circumstances. I experienced a stroke recently and had to wait my turn on a bed in the corridor to see a doctor but I was continually monitored by overworked staff. Bed blocking is a problem that is not going to go away anytime soon no matter who wins the election. Editing is a wonderful tool when you want to show the worst of something. We sometimes forget how lucky we are in this country to have the NHS. They automatically say patients are blocking beds yet itβs the NHS who closed many cottage and convalescence facilities causing the bed blockingβ. My mother in laws in RSH now after an emergency op on Saturday. We called to visit, sheβs fit to go home but no oneβs done the paper work so staying another night.Β In all honesty the admin staff didnβt seem to care, we said if you get it done we can take her but an hour later they said it wonβt be done today! Thats just paperwork holding up the bed! Went in Sunday and thought how relaxed it was, today was chaos from parking, 12 ambulances outside and police on the main entrances, not sure why. Yes paperwork is a big part of the bed blocking problem. I've had 2 spells in there in 2022, should have been in and out in a few days each time but both times it's taken twice as long to get out. The last time was 2 days before Christmas day and i escaped about 7pm on the Friday after saying i was going home that day whatever situation they were with the paperwork. Needless to say staff had gone home around 5pm and not all the paperwork had been done and Discharge team were left to sort things out. Have to say though everyone i came into contact with during my stays were excellent, (even the nurse that kept coming round and sticking bloody needles in me at regular intervals....)

Canβt really argue with that to be fair (and I was one of the main beneficiaries of the Β£5 fan card). Would be good if they offered members a discount on merchandise or meals/hospitality even if it was only at certain times of year (Iβm thinking Christmas/Easter) but I guess they could still choose to do that if they wanted to. Doubt they would offer discount on meals etc at times like Christmas/Easter as that would be the busy times. You might get discounts when times are quieter possibly to attract more custom.

Yeh, think we are the same sort of wavelength. Only on here would it be disected and debated to somewhere completely different. On social media where it originated from most people had a laugh and have moved on to other fun things and more important matters without it being dragged into more serious comment. Being flippant and then being called out on it shouldn't be a shock. Too many people moan about the quality of politicians etc and then think comments like yours under the defence of "only a joke" is going to improve the situation. I haven't got any time what so ever for Dan, but comparing him to those two! π₯±π₯±

Sex offenders and pedophiles Or elected politicians. Very very different things. Your choice of imagery is very strange. Could have chosen two terrible Salop CB... strange imagery , and wow lets bring the town into it instead the real issue is having got rid of Jimmy Saville only for Rolf Harris to get in power, it seems people now want to get rid of Rolf in hope Jim can fix it for us if will never change when the mentality is to tactical vote and elect previous basket cases how's about that then ? Yeh, think we are the same sort of wavelength. Only on here would it be disected and debated to somewhere completely different. I suspect it's not so much unfit in the sense of coming back overweight, etc., it's whether his body is able to sustain playing 90 minutes on a regular basis, considering the injuries he has had. But if he's been training with us for 6 months and making the odd appearance, I'm not sure what a few more weeks is going to prove It'll be about showing he can cope with back to back games. Hew was getting 15 or 20 minutes for us, then missing a week or two of training. I suspect Hurst will want to see if he can get through a couple of friendlies, playing a good hour or more in them, and still train. That is the minimum you need in him. Maybe be the same as Bennett was last season, however he has to improve in fitness hugely to be a sensible option for us from where he was in April. I still doubt he will be with us.

Is Ryan Woods a free agents now, by a good signing?? He signed a 3 year deal in August 22 at Hull. They donβt seem to want him hence sent out on loan last season but still under contract there. If a club dont want a player still under contract there is usually a deal to be done. Still depends if we can afford it though.

Considering how good heβs looked when heβs played, Price must look horrendously unfit in training for him to have not yet been offered a deal. I suspect it's not so much unfit in the sense of coming back overweight, etc., it's whether his body is able to sustain playing 90 minutes on a regular basis, considering the injuries he has had. But if he's been training with us for 6 months and making the odd appearance, I'm not sure what a few more weeks is going to prove Maybe this will start moving on one way or the other when the players get back at the end of the week. Hopefully anyway.

Choosing between Sunak and Starmer is like choosing between Rolf Harris and Jimmy Saville to babysit your kids. Wow. It really isn't anything like that. What strange imagery there. All metaphorical if course. Just showing that just as you wouldnt want to chose either Harris or Saville there is no good choise between Sunak or Starmer either. Both equally as bad in both cases.

Need a mix of experience and young players.....Dave Edwards pointed that out in his column the other week...the young players will come shortly I agree. The mantra of buy young to sell on is just not feasible right now. We have got a few experienced players now, Hurst loves young loanees. I am hearing we are still linked with a young Man Utd keeper for a loan. If he is half as good as the last Man United keeper we had I dont think many will complain.

Serious question to you lovely wrexham fans. I have been reading some of the comments by James McLean in my mirror subscription. Is he really as big a headcase and K@#b as he comes across. I honestly don't know much about him He certainly comes across as one. Doesnt seem a nice individual at all.

It's all well and good fans shouting for the head of Southgate but what's the alternative. It's the same for me with the election. S If we were demanding change every time we lose or have a poor defeat then I'd be a bit more understanding of this view. But Southgate has been in charge for 8 years (and going back to your election anaoliy, the Tories have been in charge for 14 years). When things are going poorly and/or going backwards then people inevitably want change, thats nothing new. But to answer your question, I could give you a whole list of names who I think could do better than Southgate, whether any of them are realistic or are interested is another matter so I genuinely don't understand why people shout down 'get rid of him' with 'who's the alternative?'Β it's not our job to do that. But I'm pretty confident that with the money on offer (Southgate is the highest paid manager at the Euro's), the players available to them and the challenge of finally delivering some success to England, the role would appeal to many managers. And I'd like to think that they have more on their CV than managing Middlesbrough "When things are going poorly/backwards then people want change" Just be thankful we are so poor that we have had a final and a semi in Southgates charge. We havnt had many of those since Alf Ramsey but plenty far worse performances.

Not too bad so far, and not all walkovers too, which I imagine is a concern with increased numbers in the tournament. Hungary and Albania definitely put up more of a fight than Scotland! England match I'm sure will be dull as dishwater but the other matches look hopefully interesting. Dutch need a win in a potentially hard group. All that said it feels weird to think a fair few 3rd placed finishers will go through too. Takes some of the jeopardy out Well my dull prediction was sadly continued onto the second match. Really hard watch. Shame compared to on the whole an entertaining tournament so far. Luckily for England they will still probably top the group but as soon as they come up against a decent side they've got no hope. Don't understand how Gordon didnt get on last night. Intrigued to see if there will be any changes for the last game. Does he drop Saka, Belligham, Kane or Foden? Alexander Arnold should go but wonder if that might be the only change. One of the biggest issues for me is Trippier at left back. But unless Shaw is fit can't see a change happening. Unless Southgate sees this match as a dead rubber as England are already through. Who knows. But think his days as England manager are going to be over after this tournament And who is your tip to take over from Southgate? He would have to improve on where weve currently are obviously, can you imagine the moans if we went backwards.

If England don't beat Slovenia and win Group C, they may want to consider a tactical loss and progressing as a third-place team... as if they finish second in Group C, they will likely play Germany... Even I'm not sure if I'm being serious. Despite tonight I fully expect England to win and finish top of the group.

Dear me, I couldnt beleive the amount of moaning after the Serbia game. Didnt play particularly well but did what we needed (scored and kept clean sheet) for the win. But the moaning was incredible.
Tonight the moaners have every right to moan. That was a very poor performance littered with mistakes. As others have said we deserved to lose. The only plus is that we shared the points, are still top of the group and should qualify for the knock outs. But we need to improve hugely.
