No ticket collection at Wrexham. That’s caused issues on here before, maybe we can pick up at Chester…

Will be the first game of the season I can make.
Somehow I thought it would require stringent details like Salopian bloodline heritage and all.

Indeed. Nit having a collection point for away tickets definitely stinks of ideas above their station.

s**t that is. What happened to season ticket holders then loyalty points starting at 10+?
I’ve only got three aways on my account since the start of last season. Bought in advance for Port Vale and Telford as well but they don’t count, as the tickets were sold directly by the home club for some reason?

s**t ...no away ticket collection point....and parking is s**t by the ground too...£10 to go in that university car park by ground....go by train..it's easier 👍

Indeed. Nit having a collection point for away tickets definitely stinks of ideas above their station. Think the last time we played a 'big' club that we couldnt collect tickets from they also played in red. We ended up collecting tickets from a nearby club who play in blue. I'm guessing collecting from a club who play in blue, Chester is a bit too far away this time. What is it about 'big' clubs who play in red having ideas above their station. Especially lower league ones.

Bought in advance for Port Vale and Telford as well but they don’t count, as the tickets were sold directly by the home club for some reason? This has to be the fairest way. With 3,500 season ticket holders and with an allocation of only 1,200, priority has to be given to those who travel regularly. I'd assume the cut off of 4 games has been calculated as that's somewhere near the allocation. FWIW I wouldn't be eligible as not been away for 18 months due to family reasons, despite being a regular traveller before that.

I think it sounds quite fair.
At least they're using the ticketing system and the loyalty points dates for what it is for.
You can't argue with that. People with more points get more privileges.

I agree and for the first time in decades I didn’t go to a minimum 4 away days last season so will have to hope I get one on the Thursday.

Does this suggest this game won't be postponed due to international break?

They will doubt sell out the home end, it's not every day you get a massive club like The Famous Shrewsbury Town visiting.

I don't agree with the 4 away games. Going to 4 away games does not make you an away day regular. It should have been 10+ away games or nothing. Those that pay up front for a season do so on the understanding they get a cheaper rate, guaranteed seat each home game and first Dibs for away/cup matches.
I actually think they will make it past season tickets as a lot will be put off by the logistics and chance of trouble. Not to mention being treated like a herd of animals because you dare travel to the match by train.

Not to mention being treated like a herd of animals because you dare travel to the match by train. Yeah, I also think some tickets will make it past season tickets. That’s why it’s annoying that you don’t credit for certain aways which are sold through the home club. If you’re going to do it that way, at least make sure it’s done fairly.

Does this suggest this game won't be postponed due to international break? The fact that weve got no one likely to be called up (possible Pierre, not sure if he is still in contention), and Wrexham have only got 1 likely to be called up is the biggest suggestion there will ever be.

I would guess the club have worked out that less than 1200 season tickets holders bought 4+ away tickets via STFC last season

Out of interest re Sky for this game, didn’t they say that ALL L1 & L2 games would be live on Sky during international breaks? So why is our game still 3pm.
Quote from Sky sports page about it: “The matches played in League One and League Two during international breaks will also be available live.
For the first time ever, fans will be also able to watch every match from the Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy.”
I’m confused.
