I think it sounds quite fair. At least they're using the ticketing system and the loyalty points dates for what it is for. You can't argue with that. People with more points get more privileges. Not strictly true. Season ticket holders first, them loyalty points. Season ticket holders with away ticket loyalty points. That's a big step up from Sean writing a list.

s**t that is. What happened to season ticket holders then loyalty points starting at 10+? I’ve only got three aways on my account since the start of last season. Bought in advance for Port Vale and Telford as well but they don’t count, as the tickets were sold directly by the home club for some reason? I bought Port Vale away last season through our ticket office. It’s on my purchase history

I preferred Sean's list😉🤣🤣🤣 Will never make everyone happy. Personally I would prefer a two year rolling system with Season Ticket holders getting 30 points a season. Then release tickets on a sliding Loyalty points systems. So this game, starting point would be 68 points+ then 60 points then 30 points. This would mean anyone with over 30 points would come in at the same point as someone who just bought a season ticket this season

Got a mate who definitely did 5, but only 3 on system. Vale was one of them, but think he paid on day at Bristol and used another ticket for Derby, as someone couldn’t go.

I'll get lynched for saying this but if form doesn't improve and as the money goes straight to W#@%^m it's possible to find a good 'link' to the game on the Web and overlay it with analogue FM from Radio Shropshire.
That way I won't have to indure that hole of a city either.
Sky's policy of making every home game broadcastable will hurt some clubs.

Anyone know the best away pub on the day? Away fans are generally welcome at every pub. Usually the designated away pub is Ironworks in the city centre. A gentle 10 minute walk from the railway station. It goes without saying the Turf gets very busy. Also the Maesgwyn Hall, and the Plas Coch which are popular with away fans. It goes without saying that if the usual suspects turn up in their Clone Island gear they normally get knocked back Edited (10 minute walk)

Should be excited about this game, but I am really struggling to drum up any enthusiasm. Like MrCricket will probably not go. I have had a season ticket for 16 years and usually go to 10-15 away games a season, last season I went to 1. I know it is league 1 football, but it has been dire for a few seasons now. Only been to the Peterborough game so far, which was truly awful, there was a massive gulf in quality between the 2 teams. Very depressing times.

In theory it can be shown live as it’s an international break weekend I think….Not sure it will be? Maybe through iFollow but not chosen for SKY. Thanks Davy
Wow I see they have 'US' fans - interesting given that most people from Wrexham support someone else.

Thanks Davy Wow I see they have 'US' fans - interesting given that most people from Wrexham support someone else. I think that might have changed amongst the younger fans, my sister lives in Wrexham and before they won the lottery most young people had the usual premiership teams but a lot now wear wrexham , I suspectw they also follow there premiership teams as well , pity the parents who now pay for two football shirts

Anyone know the best away pub on the day? Maesgwyn Hall usually welcomes well behaved away fans. Given the match date there will likely be bars set up outside and potentially some live music - akin to a fanzone environment. They offer decent food as well above the burger van level. responsive on social media so any questions contact them to verify they will let Shrewsbury fans in www.facebook.com/maesgwynhall/Plas Coch pub also lets away fans in, but is a Marstons chain pub and is more an eating establishment than drinking pub, but you often see fans sat outside on the benches on a match day. I would avoid the Wetherspoons in town.

also FYI Jamie Tolley will be doing an interview at the Maesgwyn that day - its worth the £20 as you get a sit down meal as part of the entry fee - but again check they will allow away fans in.
there is no charge to go and use the public bar or outside areas

Gutted to have missed out. Weren’t all games over international breaks being shown live on SKY? Hope this is the case, will be the only way of watching for the majority

Crikey when was the last time we sold out an allocation to season ticket holders alone?
Very pensive about the day itself but after 16 or however many years since we were last there, felt like I couldn't miss this one.
I'd probably take doing the double against them and going down tbh.

Dont think you need worry about doing the double over them, the other option is very likely on the cards however.....

It's certainly true I saw the tickets and was told they were on the way to the ticket office , only a handful of them though so you might want to act quick 👍

As long as they don’t use Ticketmaster dynamic pricing then we should be okay!
