Bearing in mind this the pre match thread it will probably have a meltdown after the match. Absolutely. So far its lots of willy waving by the biggest willies. Thankfully only a few of them have camped on B&A recently, sure the Facebook groups will see more Wrexham willies as the days count down. I do dread to think what it might be like should there be a win either way, though at present there is a 50% chance I might get my own willy out and wave it (Ok maybe its less than 50% in our case).

Does Beacon Radio still exist? We used to feature on it quite regularly when I worked at Lockwell Lectrics, entering pretty much every quiz they had going. The best was when we won 6 large pizzas, delivered by the Breakfast Show team after the show finished. The four of us were stuffed sadly no, not since about 15 years ago, not really sure what happened to it, got taken over as part of a merger I think, shame I I liked it too and sometimes used to ring the midnight debate back in the 90s, also used to tune into signal radio too if town were playing stoke or vale etc Now Free Radio. www.expressandstar.com/news/2012/01/09/beacon-radios-name-to-vanish/

Plas Coch is usually away fan friendly. The Maesgwyn Hall over the road welcomes well behaved away fans and if the weather is ok you can stand outside and they serve beer and food (its linked to a small chain of pubs called the Fat Boar) the Turf also does allow away fans in, but will be rammed on a match day with plenty of bouncers on. Failing that, I am sure that i saw the Ironworks in the City Centre is sometimes allocated to away fans Don't think I have ever been on Whatpub for an away game and seen so many pubs with "Real Ale not available". I suppose I shouldn't been surprised as it sums up the locals taste Wrexham lager at its finest. Dishwater straight from the kitchen sink.

Pre paid for parking 10 mins away, ECP Island Green ?? Could be hell! Let me guess the car. Austin Allegro with go faster stripes? You really are a card arent you eh? 🙄 Quick question, in the admittedly unlikely event that you dont win on Saturday are you still going to be willy waving on Blue and Amber in the days after the game? We know that Noto will suddenly disappear into thin air, will you as well?

Wrexham won't go up. They'll come close but there's at least six bigger/more equipped sides than them. I hope they get to the playoff final and lose. And for all their riches and razamataz, they'll have literally spent millions of pounds to achieve what we did only several years earlier. They'll beat us Saturday but what a hateful bunch they are. The only club where rats like Paul Mullin are celebrated and someone like James McClean can be made captain. Money can't buy class it seems. ❤❤❤

My horse and cart is unavailable Saturday and my Dad’s tractor is needed to harvest the turnips so I’m getting the train. Are they likely to put on anymore carriages or is it just going to be a free for all? In the good old days they’d have a ‘football special’, I’m assuming those days are long gone? Where’s best for a pint? Shrewsbury.

I guess it’s down to what you value. I would prefer to be a rich Premier League footballer in the national squad and playing for a team that’s in the running for meaningful trophies than a super rich individual in a league no one cares about. I agree with you but More and more top flight footballers are different. Greed feeds more greed.

Gilliead and O'Reilly possibly under instruction to protect Hoole a little more, will be interesting when Winchester is back as to where he slots into things now, Perry has taken his chance and done well, Gillead to put that performance in with less than 24 hours of being in the side is impressive. Winchester can play right back so that is another option. Will Winchester be fit by the weekend though?

Driving home after our win over Orient I could not believe how bad radio Shropshire football coverage has become.....only listened to it post match but the lady with Crossy was not very knowledgeable.....and I am being polite. Were they not focussing on the "Big FA Cup tie" at Gainsborough then? That's surprising for Radio Telf, sorry Shropshire.

By all means take the p**s out of our football club, after your years in non league and us p**sing ourselves at your attempts to get back in, it's payback time and sadly (for us), it's payback on steroids as we are heading in complete opposite directions. But I still chuckle at Wrexham fans and this farmers/wurzels stuff. I can understand that when you play a club from a big city or built up area, to them we are a little backwater town in the sticks. But seeing it coming from a little town (sorry, city) in North Wales, very entertaining. Its because of your ugly accent. Something's not right at all there. A real head scratcher. I can't decide whether I want us to absolutely stuff you with a cricket score or for it be a tight game and then in the dying minutes Sir Paul Mullin dives, wins us a penalty which McClean takes and scores. I'd also happily take a defeat on Saturday as long as you still get relegated. A defeat for us whilst surprising would not be anything to get worried about. As the world knows the direction we're heading in. You're kind of in a no win situation as whatever happens you're still getting left behind in every single aspect. That must be hard to accept. Rule number 1 about posting on a rivals forums is be a little tactful and discerning. Dont be a Billy Big Bollux else you will find a large number of other posters are likely to gang up on you. It's fairly unlikely you wont win on Saturday but if you only draw or get beat do expect a huge * take heading your way (and Noto's too) I'd guess.

Peterborough sell on clause means they will get a £4 million from the sell on clause Brings their estimated transfer revenue to mostly £20m in the last 2 or so years And ours is......?? Shows how far we have fallen in recent years compared to a few other clubs of a similar status.

Oh dear, oh dear. If you’re older than 14, I feel embarrassed for you. Thats kind of you but you have much more important issues to feel embarrassed about. Have you seen the absolute state of your football club? You can't even fill the subs bench. You've got your priorities all wrong The state of OUR football club?? Can I remind you of the absolute state of YOUR football club for almost a generation. You are lucky, like really lucky they were still alive for the yanks to even come across in their random search for a football club.

Don’t think Nurse is even an option at CB to be honest. He’s a left back, I doubt he’s ever played in a centre back pairing in his life. Plus he’s been injured for two years. Looked really rusty in his cameo against Bolton, which is obviously understandable. Nsiala did ok on Saturday anyway. Certainly didn’t look a liability. He did in pre season and think he did before he came to town. But yeah he's primarily a Left Back. To expect him to start in a huge league game in his non natural position, after 2 years out is just unfair I think. I suspect there is a lot of mental work for him too to not have the trepidation of walking back onto the pitch. His 2 times on the pitch so far has been when the game was over right at the end of the match. I reckon that will continue for a fair bit and next step is coming on for a bit longer in a game that isn't over. 1-0 down 20 mins to go sort of thing. Will be interesting though, as he is on the bench that if town CB gets sent off or injured early on - what happens. Is he ready for first team football? Ojo has played centre back I believe and other players can if needed cover full backs (Gilliead, Winchester, Shipley), so although it's a very thin squad for Saturday, I would be amazed it Nurse plays an important part Have to agree with all of that. I doubt Nurse will be back as a decent 90 minute option till probably Christmas or just before. And I hope the backroom team all think like that as well for the players sake and future career.

If someone offered me a ticket to go for free I'd go, but wouldnt pay for it nor jump through so many hoops to do it.
'Only' Paid £150 to see AC/DC at Wembley in July. Wasnt going to but came into some unexpected money and my group still had 1 ticket left so decided to go a week before. Enjoyed it but would most certainly be a 1 off.
Far too much money, far too much hastle.

But Oswestry did have a very good team back in the day too.....Cheshire league/ northern premier league👍👍 saw their last Northern Premier League game Last game, or last home game (v Mossley ??)? I was at the last home game but I seem to remember they had to vacate Victoria Road before the end of the season so had to play their last few games away. I was also at Oswestrys 1st game at Park Hall, Town provided the opposition in August 1993 Facilities back then consisted of changing rooms, a post and rail fence and maybe a very small stand, no floodlights. A world away from what is there now.

Up to the 1st Qualifying Round now.
Shifnal travelled to Wellingborough and went through to Rd2 with an excellent 2-0 win.
Whitchurch are still also in the 2nd Rd draw too after a home 1-1 draw with Wythenshaw. Replay away on Tuesday night.
And the highest ranked Shropshire club Telford entered the competition at this stage, and quickly bombed out 2-1 at Gainsborough Trinity. Ah well 😂😂PMSL

I hope this result silences the over-the-top 'Moaning Minnies' for a while. I'm amazed (well actually no I'm not) about the positivity on here after yesterday compared to 24 hours before on transfer deadline day 😂 Mind you if you read through a thread several hours after a game where we have gone behind then come back to win I should be used to it by now.

I’d like to free kick Mullin in the ballocks . Does that count? speaking of him, hes only played 38 mins this season Just coming back from injury isnt he? No doubt he will play a significant part of next weeks game - if for no other reason than to get in the Town players faces.

Just seen the goals. Great 1st from Bloxham, 2nd wasnt too shabby either. But the opener from Castledine was class and well worked by the other youngster. Dont think our journeyman would have worked that one tbh.

Disappointed with Ivan Toney , he seemed the kind of player most premier clubs needs , gone to Saudi = goodbye England career United having to sell home grown Scot mcktominay just to stay within the rules Chelsea's long contracts catching up with them Just when you think the games gone mad , it gets even more crazy Totally agree about Toney to Saudi, to kick on with his England career he needs to be in western Europe at least. But I'm guessing he will make big money out of it if that's all he is interested in.
