How did this make you all feel? Mandatory caution for covering face with a mask You would have to make an exception for Wrexham players surely. They do have some right ugly feckers in their team.

Id suggest only start taking them if you really (REALLY) have to. I was put on statins a few years before I turned 60 and couldnt work out why I was acheing so much. Do read up about the effects of statins on the internet, like i did. Anyway i stopped taking them for a month just to see if they made any difference, from day 5 i started to feel much better. I made an appointment to discuss it with the GP and they didnt argue that I really needed them and said I was only put on them as a precaution........ 😒 But yes do expect to feel like a pincussion much more than you have been. They will do their utmost to try and find something that 'needs sorting' that you have probably lived fine with over the years. I was the same with atorvastatin but when I went to Simvastatin I had no problems and my cholesterol went down from 5.4 (which is not too bad) to 3 (which is excellent). I used both, still ached in pretty much all muscles and joints with either My cholestoral after 6 weeks off them was 3 so they are happy to monitor it ongoing.

Roland will have to put his hand in his pocket and bring in a free agent centre half if he wants us to have any chance of staying up. Pierre and Nsiala aren’t good enough and Feeney looks well off it. You wouldnt expect any free agent centre backs that are actually an improvement on what we have got just 2 weeks after the transfer window has closed though. But yes I'm sure Roland would find the money from somewhere if we found one.

Acheing IS somwtimes a symptom of getting old. But often it's more a symptom of taking statins. They wont tell you about it when they suggest taking it. I've taken them for years, and yeah I ache like I've done 15 rounds with mike Tyson most days Try not taking them for a month like I did. They are a preventative tablet rather than something keeping you alive so not taking them for 4 weeks is hardly going to harm you. See how you feel and take it from there with the GP. Obviously if your cholestoral is sky high it's a slightly different scenario but there will be other options.

I'm going to read up and then possibly get into see my GP as I do ache a lot and just presumed that it was a symptom of getting old😳 Acheing IS somwtimes a symptom of getting old. I'm still confused by the amount of people naming Nurse to start. What's the evidence that he's remotely ready? For a player in his position you've got to safeguard a players physical and mental state. Looks like they seem to be doing that, and so chucking him into the starting XI isnt going to happen Agree with all that about Nurse. I'd also add that whenever he is fit and ready to resume dont expect him to just drop back into being the player he was 2 years ago, he could be quite rusty and make just as many mistakes as the players currently in the line up. Understand we are just desparate for a bit of inspiration in the team, but be realistic and accept Nurse quite possibly wont be it for some time. Hopefully with good management he will be in time though.

If they haven't already asked, they'll be discussing taking statins with you. I'm in good health so would I need them? Id suggest only start taking them if you really (REALLY) have to. Shhuuusssh! We enjoyed that win All the recent derby game losses when we were on our foooookin' KNEES! When the team travelled to games in taxis and public transport. I'm going to make a bold prediction. We're going to beat you at your place as well... "All the RECENT derby game when we were on our foookin knees" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Just to remind you that there havnt been ANY derby games before last weekend for SEVENTEEN FOOOOOOOKIN YEARS with Shrewsbury. Weve always been above your lowly level. Unless you were thinking of the NON LEAGUE derbys you have had with the mighty Chester of course.

Have to agree about the deluded bit. You sure are. This kid has the potential to reach the stars far higher than Mullin has ever done. Pity it wont be with is. If he had such huge potential he would not be playing for L1 relegation dead certs that's for sure. You've seen him play, what twice (once was no show against us where he did the grand total of fck all) and have already come to that conclusion? And then you call me deluded? My oh my. Have you dropped an E? That's almost as funny as your fans losing their s**t after the game on Saturday. We all stood on the side laughing at you. All we saw was spit and straw flying everywhere, like Worzel Gummidge having a seizure. Glad you have had the chance to laugh at us. We have rather had the monopoly on that over the last nearly 20 years I have to admit. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Castledine will go further up the ladder than Mullin ever has. He arguable has already in playing for and captaining (I think) his country. Yeah right. We aren't / weren't talking about what ifs and pie in the sky dreams we're talking about the here and now. And LOL at that by the way. Mullin, a seasoned pro, insane goal scoring record over the last 4 seasons, a proven big game player over a puny kid who's played what 2 games at professional level in the League and in the last one (Saturday) he was in hiding when the going got tough. Players like Mullin are way out of reach for you, hence why you have to take huge punts on kids from Premiership teams. Deluded does not even come close. Have to agree about the deluded bit. You sure are. This kid has the potential to reach the stars far higher than Mullin has ever done. Pity it wont be with is.

One for us oldies😁 Who remembers goalkeeper Ryan Esson, who managed 6 first team starts for us plus 1 for Hereford United during the period 2006-2008. He then returned to the Highlands and played and coached at Inverness C.T until this summer. He has reappeared as the new Head Coach at the worst side in the Highlands League, Strathspey Thistle. Ryan took over in mid August following "The Jags" losing their opening 5 matches and so far has lost 3 and inexplicably won 1,a 3-0 victory over Lossiemouth. However his losses have included an 8-2 loss at Brora and a 7-0 tonking at Brechin City on Saturday Not surprisingly Strathspey are bottom of the Highlands League having played 9 won 1 lost 8 with 3 points and an already mighty -33 goal difference. Good Luck Ryan you're going to need it😳 I think Strathspey have taken over the mantle from Fort William of being the strongest team in the Highland League every season. Doesnt seem to be any relegation from it.

With apologies, I cannot agree that throwing the club to a professional obliged to take the best offer is a thing we could do, and trigger a relegation. The route to sustainability is planned, Liam has been very clear, and we are moving forward paying our way every month, we have fought to get out of the position we were left in and are on the road to recovery. In short, the club was in flux from late in the 22-23 season, cash had to be put in. The process of change has been ongoing as is well documented, throughout the 23-24 season, the position is better now, and still improving. Not sure I would want to throw all that away in such a fashion, like the adverts used to say (with apologies) a club is for life not just for Christmas Many thanks for this. I'm guessing the Chairman isnt bailing the club out on a monthly basis as some are suggesting on here, more on an as and when basis depending on cashflow of the club when wage payments fall due?

Perhaps we should move on to the next game as quickly as we did last week. Need to get something against Charlton, though they too have started well. Yes indeed. After yesterday its pity we dont have a midweek game coming up - for both the players and the fans to quickly move on to. Not that I think the Charlton game will be any less difficult but it wont come with a media circus or local derby aspect.

Decent article, not sure what else he could have said. I take from that we are doing a lot better financially which is a big positive. Hopefully we have enough to stay up this season and next season we can start building again I'm sure we are doing a lot better financially this season with the higher earners gone. But it will take quite a bit longer to get back to where we were a few years back. Probably best described as 'in recovery'.

That is correct for listening to bbc sounds or on the radio , I never knew that until I just looked it up , I do have a licence and when I'm looking for something to watch on iPlayer it amazing how much I've actually already watched , it seems inevitable but it will be a shame the day the bbc loses the licence privilege I do love it on here when one or two boast they don't have a licence and don't watch the bbc and then a while later get heavy into a debate about something they watched last night on the bbc 😝 Also those who complain about the TV Licence and then happily pay Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Discovery, Now, Apple TV.... The difference being that you chose whether to pay for those but not the BBC

I send out pretty much zero normal letter these days, and that is before they add 30p to the cost.
The biggest issue to me is sending (and paying for receiving) programmes that are a little more expensive due to extra weight.
The last one i paid to receive was £2.50. That was 50p for the programme plus 2.00 to receive it...... the amount needed I'm rarely likely to find anyone with more than one from the same seller so I'm good business for the Post Office.

Who’s saying it’s not a rivalry? I’m saying that for some Wrexham fans the Shrewsbury game isn’t as big a deal as others. It’s just not. For some Wrexham fans Saturday is the biggest game of the season and they see you as huge rivals. For many fans it’s another game and I’ve explained the reason for that already. It should be a cracking atmosphere, but then that’s the case for all our home games. Our players will certainly respond to it and if your lads do too then we’re in for a great game. There is a reason that for many of your fans a game against Shrewsbury isnt a big deal. For quite a number of your fans wont even remember league games between the two teams it's been that long ago.

Curious. Moore said specifically last year the budget wouldn't be exceeded. Is Roland aware of this one? I think what was meant was that we are running within the current budget. But the losses accrued from the previous regimes still sees the club very much down on where it needs to be. Just by getting rid of the players earning more than we can afford wont instantly see everything being rosy, it will take many months to get back to previous financial levels.

That is one of the best ten week updates I've ever heard, well done Liam. I dont know if it says anything other than what we know or assume. But I agree it's very refreshing to hear things from an official point of view from the club. Weve been kept on the dark for so long, it's great to have someone addressing the fans with what's going on inside the club.

Many of the so-called Turkish Barbers apparently act as a front for illegal activities Whether this is true or not, my question is, why are they even here? Do we have a national shortage of barbers? I think not. What benighted idiot in the Home Office gave these people a work visa? and if they don’t have a work visa, why have they not been deported? That's a whole new argument, but I do understand and agree with what you are hinting at 👍
