WTF ? that why I said PLAN and said well done to town for seemingly being a better option than wrexham dear o dear, grow up (we dont need wrexham fans on here to banter with, we have enough of our own fans jumping in on their behalf )

Fiorentina is away. TNS will probably take 15-20 at a guess.

Yeah, Panathinaikos, Djurgardens and Astana are the home games. I hope they're at the Meadow. Be interesting to watch some half-decent European teams live. I can just about remember Panathinaikos losing to Ajax in the 1971 European Cup Final. They've just signed Pellistri from Man United so I'd hope to see him play.

I wonder if this might be a first step to Mike Harris investing in STFC?

It would be good for us! We were all crying in the summer about the lack of facilities' use. Now we may have a chance to bring in extra income. We are in a wee financial rut, put whatever morals we may have aside...plus we get to say we had european footy hosted at the New Meddah

I wonder if this might be a first step to Mike Harris investing in STFC? Why would he ? TNS picked up half Towns turnover just for qualifying for the group.

My memory may be playing tricks but I thought part of the planning agreement back in 2007 prevented sharing the ground with another club, be it Football or Rugby That may have been dropped from the final agreement but I remember the NIMBYs trying every trick in the book to delay the building of the stadium.

For me this is brilliant news.i hope it materialises. I watched Oswestry Town with my Dad many many times (it's how I got used to losing). If it goes ahead I will do my utmost to attend for my late Dad

But Oswestry did have a very good team back in the day too.....Cheshire league/ northern premier league👍👍 Yes, an English club playing in English leagues. Vaguely remember something where the stewards at Oswestry wouldn't let Steve Cross into the ground as he didn't have a ticket and didn't believe he was playing.

Yet it’s happened. International, friendlies, local leagues playing cup finals not to mention Shrewsbury Women who weren’t even in existence when the ground was built. More likely not to happen cos I don’t believe Mike Harris and Roland are on friendly terms.
