I made the mistake of getting involved in a conversation on Twitter with some of the Swedes and have since been bombarded with questions, mainly for pub advice!
They think they'll bring around 2,000 and have said all accommodation is booked up for a few days in the town, hopefully will be a bit of a boost for local businesses

Perhaps we should sneak in an Estate Agents 'For Sale' sign, or ensure the fact the club is up for sale is part of the briefing notes for the TV pundits to talk about....

A huge turnout of 215 at TNS's home league fixture yestetday. The people of Oswestry have little interest in the club even with there European success.

They may play near Oswestry...but they are a welsh club. So I expect most locals don't feel affiliated.

Perhaps fans who are going can have a few for sale posters with them ?

I know people have speculated why Mike Harris would be interested in coming to us and/or leaving TNS as they are winning the league regularly and playing in Europe. Well this is your answer, despite doing that and receiving so much attention in recent weeks, they are attracting crowds not much more than you'd see at the sports village on a Sunday morning

I gather that qualifying for Europe each season brings in some decent revenue but it would be interesting to know profit/loss during that period and how much he's personally contributed

With the encyclopediac knowledge of the good people on here could you confirm that when Oswestry were in the old Victoria ground 'We' used to have regular crows of 1.5k I went with my Dad so I wonder where they have all gone . I can't find any records on line. Thanks
