I'd think about going to these games and lending my support to TNS.

I quite like the idea of loads of greek fans in town The Panathaniakos fans are crazy 🤣 expect them to rip the stadium up if they aren't already banned from attending That’s certainly going to be an interesting game.

Anyone got any idea how much this kind of deal would make for the club?

Anyone got any idea how much this kind of deal would make for the club? All these games are on tv so could be quite some money coming our way. Would think the ticket prices would be quite steep.

Well we did play galatasaray once in a friendly....drogba and all👍😃😉 Yeah I remember it well. They had Emmanuel Eboue and Wesley Sneijder (world cup winner at that point i believe) playing for them too. They beat us 3 nil i think. I remember Sneijder playing but he was a World Cup runner up - Spain beat the Dutch 1-0 in the 2010 final. They lost to Argentina in the 2014 semi.

TV money would surely go the club not the people that own the hosting stadium? Don't suspect this would be huge money for town, but better than nothing at all!

I’d have thought it’s either a flat fee agreed with the reputable Mr Harris, or a percentage of the net income. As a hunch I’d suggest a flat fee, as a stadium hire. And probably won’t be anything mindblowing, might give Mr Wycherley or Mr Montgomery a month off being our saviours though.

Apparently TNS have already made 7 figures by getting this far with Mega prize money for each win and 50% of that for every draw. They will have to pay for the upgrade of our floodlights.

Ah yes was that when De Jong threw the game away with a flying karate kick or something? Did he near decapitate someone?

Don't expect to see many away fans for the first two games but may see a few for the Panathanikos game which could see a boost for a few local hotels. I’ve been told that Djurgården have asked for 2,000 tickets!

Anyone got any idea how much this kind of deal would make for the club? I wouldn't get too excited, if you think this will right the wrong, I suspect it will be a scratch on the surface of STFC's Financials.

Apparently TNS have already made 7 figures by getting this far with Mega prize money for each win and 59% of that for every draw. They will have to pay for the upgrade of our floodlights. No "apparently" about it. Qualification for Group stage = €3,170,000 (£2,662,800) Revenue per win in group = €400,000 (£336,000) Revenue per draw in group = €133,000 (£111,720

I’ve been told that Djurgården have asked for 2,000 tickets! How many might Panathinaikos want, I wonder? Given that actual TNS support is in the hundreds, there's probably an argument for the away team to be given the West Stand (though perhaps not Astana). That would be fair, although I'd like locals (like me!) to get the chance to watch these games too.
