Saw Bruce Dickinson in wolves on thursday. AC/DC at Wembley stadium in july. Wish I'd thought a bit more about AC/DC when tickets cane out. Never thought I'd ever be able to get, nor justify paying the price to see them. Big mistake but hey ho.

Saw Bryan Adams at the Ricoh on Friday night, probably seen him 12-15 times and as always he was superb. He can still rock the place out, fills venues all over the world on a very regular basis, despite his hits being from many years ago now.
I was expecting it to be an outdoor on the pitch concert so had a jumper and gillet on, didnt realise there was an indoor arena there too. It was stiflingly hot.....

At least we can genuinely sympathise with them. Especially Demetriou. Third time he's lost in the playoffs. Pay, only three times. Hopefully he can sympathise with us, he is just a beginner 🙂

Well done Oxford for getting promotion, one of the smaller clubs in league 1.....always a chance for us in the future......are Oxford a small club tho....am I right in saying that??? Yes Oxford are a fairly small club. They have spent time in the old 1st division though in the past (beating us to get promotion) and a spell in the Conference too.

What ya worried about Hurst leaving for already.....the only time he'll leave,is if he's done well, and taken us into the play offs,or if he's failed, and they sack him...... I'm hoping he's done well, and taken us well up the table, and a championship,or big league 1 club come in for him.....and jolly good luck to him too Yes. And I hope if/when he leaves to go to a 'bigger' club he has learnt about doing it with more dignity than last time.

Cant see Bennett being on Wrexhams radar at all. They will have to bring in better players and Bennett might have been just the sort of player 3 or 4 years ago, but surely not what they are looking for now.

You're a heretic.
What audio delights tickle your auditory hair cells? The Smurfs Go Pop! I'd wager, or a little something from the Spice Girls to spice up your cochlea?
Spice girls far too spicy for me. According to the youtube mix my favourites appear to be: Bands currently releasing music - Sabaton, played loud clearly, or dropkick murphys Bands from way back when - Credence Clearwater Revival, AC/DC, Guns N Roses. Make of that what you will Dont do modern music but your older stuff I'd give 10/10 for.

The Prem clubs are going to vote on it. When are clubs like Coventry, and us, going to get a vote on having to encounter VAR on some of our matches? You've forgotten, that clubs like us at our level simply dont count.

Horrible club full stop.
Almost as bad as one of their fans kicking Ben Davies and putting him out of the play off final for us.

Oh indeed. Had forgotten about the significance of the date (even though that date is indelibly tattooed in my brain)

All the recent posts are quite worrying. Roland is in his early 80s now, let's just hope he has a good few years left on this earth as the alternative doesnt bear thinking about for what it might mean for the club. Hopefully Roland has made provisions for this scenario.

Who is or was Tom Farmer? One of the top men in Shropshire FA. Going back a few years now, dont know if he is still with us or not.

It was an awful game of football but the result was all that mattered. I've watched it back several times on DVD and even knowing the outcome doesnt make the game look any better.
I remember it was stifling hot that day, very different to todays weather.

Surely an 8-1 aggregate defeat must be the worst loss ever suffered in the play-offs - I cant remember anything that even comes close to that. You are probably right 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Agreed. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be next seasons Lincoln, Stevenage, Orient or Northampton without risking our long term stability. That is correct, it will take a relatively small improvement to get to where they were the season just finished. However it would also be only a small drop from where we finished to also become next seasons Cheltenham, Fleetwood or Vale. Fine margins, let's just hope PH can improve us rather than going the other way.

6 weeks of hard work before the new season starts. Good, work them hard Paul & Chris. Let's just hope the majority of the new squad are signed on by then.

No pre season jolly in the Spanish sunshine, looks like lots of hard running up Haughmond.
When are the pre season games being anounced if they are already set up?

I’ll miss Marosi’s shot stopping but definitely not his kicking!!! The reaction to Marosi going is interesting, people don't seem that bothered and the view is a decent goalkeeper isn't too hard to find. But how many times last season did he got MOM and/or make crucial saves to earn us points? Over the season, I suspect his saves earnt us more points than Udoh's goals but it will be the latter that fans will be most disappointed to see leave I'd say it will be much easier to find a decent replacement for Marosi than it will be to find a decent replacement for Udoh. On our budget for sure.

I watched dunks and Pierre play together against Cambridge.. ...both good in the air.....but torn apart on the ground, against the speedy Cambridge forwards.....so if Pierre stops, and plays,we need a quicker centre half by the side of him....imho Feeney? Sraha?

Pretty much as I expected when it was first anounced. Higher earners wont be signing, the 2 lower earners likely will (1 has already).
