Both first legs today.
Doncaster go in as the form team, and Mk Dons better over the season. Id fancy the final to be them 2.
No new faces particularly for town, although has been quite a while since they played Crawley.
Crewe continuing with youth policy with decent part of their squad from their youth team, but with a couple of ex town players - Tracey and Demetriou who has particularly chipped in with goals and assists from centre back.
Who do people prefer for next season?

Or any one but Milton Keynes.

I heard a whisper that Crawley v MK Dons was awaiting a pitch inspection due to a waterlogged pitch!

Got to be Crew. Doncasterβs a poor away day with little going on βout of townβ and a ground thatβs too big for them.

Crewe - Doncaster starts shortly. Crewe have 5 starters from their youth team, and only Demetriou is over the age of 27. Makes it hard to dislike them really.
Think they will be up against it though, front three of Adelakun - Ironside - Molyneaux is pretty good at that level. 11 goals between them in their leash 5 games by my count.

Match postponed. Now scheduled from tomorrow evening at 7:30pm. Its interesting that a play off game can be rescheduled for 24 hours time (plus a bit) but any FA Cup game called off gets rescheduled for 10 days later with the usual excuse that the police insist on it.

Pitch didn't look to bad at all considering they had a game called off 24 hours beforehand. Was impressed by Crawley, they played some very neat and tidy football throughout (chalk and cheese to what I've sat through for the most part this season) and ran out deserved winners. And of course nice to see MK on the receiving end. Hopefully Crawley can finish the job at the weekend.

I thought both Crawley and Doncaster were impressive and it should make for a good final if there are no turnarounds in the second legs. Check out Crawley's keeper Addai whose touch map made Ederson look like a line keeper!

Milton Keynes would do everyone a favour if they dropped 'Dons' from their name.
It only serves to remind everyone as to the grubby way in which they entered the League.

Like it or not I say WimbleDON is part of their history I bet there are other examples , and when the Americans get control of the premier league it won't be long before their clubs go on world tours to play league games ππ
