I honestly think some of our fans revel in it they cant wait to post negative stuff, like other negative stuff without fail, ignore positive posts it pains me to see it Ok, I'll bite. I'll hold my hand up and say in recent years I've been negative/critical/moaning/crying (delete as appropriate) but that's because I don't see a lot of things to be positive about, on or off the field. That doesn't mean I revel in it, far from it in fact, the way I see the club and it's fanbase is quite depressing. But by that I mean the apathy, personally, I've been surprised at the lack of negativity, I can think of a lot of clubs where there would be a lot more anger, instead we have a fairly placid fanbase and apathy has really set in. Most people I know have accepted relegation which considering we are 9 games in is a sorry state of affairs As for ignoring positive posts, what are they? That isn't a dig, I'm genuinely interested to see what positivity fans are ignoring The new carpets in the Sovereign Suite are of topnotch quality apparently. No expense spared. So that's positive.

Only if you’re one who walks on them! To me it’s like doing your house up ready to sell only for the purchaser to change it all anyway!

Yes it was quite menacing when Stockport brought on 4 fresh faces, it's almost half the outfield personal. The subs were far too late from Hurst. One wonders whether there are instructions from Chelsea to take Castledine off after 70 as well. Castledine works really hard but he is not currently fit enough to last 90 minutes. He is stuffed after 60 to 65 minutes

Unbelievable

If they were only dirty then get them cleaned! It’s what most of us do.
They are still no where near as important than the risk of someone falling due to lack of handrails something which could affect a far greater number of people.

But the fans want him out , get the new guy to splash out on additional railing that will upset more than it helps as it will block their view , there are already rails at the end of each stand for those who need one , walking to the end of the stand is usually quickest way out anyway no matter where you are sat

The handrails issue should have been thought about when the ground was being built. Good job we have a good paint job though to negate the fact folks are falling down stairways.

New carpets? We are going to look like a club worthy of gracing the European stage, albeit it with TNS.
I credit the management team, especially Roland who has recently had to pump in £2Million, with more sense than to spend money on new carpets if cleaning would have sufficed.

They just need fixing to the wall end. They won’t block anyone’s view. I understood someone said there was one at the end of block 19 if so, why not anywhere else? Apparent walking through the Sovereign Lounge is a safe way out if you have the influence to be able to use it. Perhaps all us elderly folks should try it. Quite honestly, I don’t care who the Chairman and the Board are, it is something that should be done without question and definitely before a blooming new carpet which when we all start traipsing on for safety reasons will soon get dirty again.

Well if that’s what they need for the club to become a selling point they can’t be looking at anything else in depth. Surely there are far more important things they should be looking at? It’s all extremely bizarre to me. But, then again, what do I know?!

It was the blood on the carpet that finished it off, difficult to get out, blood stains.

Buyers often notice the flooring before anything else. Whether it's worn-out carpet, scratched hardwood, or outdated tiles, the state of your floors can make or break a deal. On the flip side, the right flooring can elevate your home's appeal instantly.

I’m kinda hoping the new owners will be able to multi task and have clean carpets and safe access for fans. It’s that kind of radical thinking the new owners can bring to the club that the current administration can’t

We have an ageing group of supporters, so for me doing all the basics to ensure there safety is a non brainer. I sit in block 15 and there are a few fans with walking sticks or come with friends who help them up and down the steps.

How about we put the dirty carpets back and pop our blinkers on so we can keep moaning that no one is buying the club Unbelievable Doubt that would work. People are just questioning the thought behind spending on the Sovereign Suit as if purchasers are going to be swayed whilst the rest of the grounds looking very tired. At the moment fans turn up after every game to clean the stadium and grounds. They do the best they can but it’s only just acceptable. Not sure if they clean the Function Rooms and boxes or they still have contract cleaners. We’re all for cutting our cloth and putting up with the club crying poverty when it comes to important things like safety rails but seems the Sovereign Suit is exempt from cut backs…..

They are bound to role out the red carpet, bring out the best china and linen etc for any prospective buyers. No doubt too all the management team will be in their Sunday best.
Got to impress you know.
Everything else will be swept under the carpet, so to speak.
The rank and file have to make do and mend but I must not moan, it's not the done thing!

I haven’t moaned for ages but I do see a problem that needs addressing sooner rather than later.
There is plenty I could moan about but I’m just too apathetic to bother at the moment!

Global branding and merchandise selling, B list star attendees, it's the way of the world. Get the crowds in without having to bother about the standard of the facilities. That's the way to do it these days.

In the grand scheme of things I don’t think a new carpet will be noticeable on the accounts. It probably cost two or three weeks wages for Luca Hoole.

Exactly, the state of a lot of the seats is absolutely disgusting, what's the point in fresh carpets when the rest of the Ground is a mass, fair play to those volunteering, total respect.
