I alluded to it on the "poll" thread that Taylor had three games including Wrexham, he lost them all.
Hurst has been lined up for a month or more. He was actually wanted in July but Grimsby wanted silly compensation.

Whilst I think this is the only positive decision that can be made right now. I hope MT goes on and does well, we gave an inexperienced manager the worst platform to show his abilities.

Wow. Thought the Peterborough game would have given him time.

Interesting, I thought Bignot would have initially taken over...seems to me something or someone has already been set up, as can't see an interim being in charge with us in a precarious position.
Also, with Moore's comments of having faith, is it RW that has said enough is enough?

How can anyone take a word said seriously in that supporters parliament?
"Total faith in Taylor", blah blah blah. Utter nonsense, I don't trust Moore as far as I could shove him. I want him gone ASAP.
I feel a bit sorry for Taylor to be honest.

Not too surprising, unfortunately I never really saw progression under MT.
Likeable enough chap and perhaps a victim of the circumstances left by SC.
The worry was that I could not see where a win would come from, perhaps there will be more hope now.

TWOTS is that Hurst and Doig are in talks to take over.

I wish MT nothing but good luck. He tried his best he just did not have the skills or experience to get a small league 1 club to fight above their means.
MT's post match interview yesterday did not come across as someone who knew they were on their way out so I am surprised it has happened so soon.
I just hope now that its not Hurst. I have heard RW has been trying to get him back since he has left so it would not surprise me if it was him. It will never work though. A manager starting off with a good portion of the fan base wanting you nowhere near the club is never going to end well. As soon as we have a below par run of form fans will be on his back.
Hurst got lucky with us with some great loan players and a winning habit. He wont repeat anything close to the same as last time.

Roland has done the sensible thing. There are enough games left this season to avoid relegation.
I'm afraid MT, despite being an apparently decent chap, just wasn't able to fix things coaching-wise to provide any creativity and goals.

TWOTS is that Hurst and Doig are in talks to take over. He's been waiting in the wings since before Wrexham. He'd have been here in July but for the compensation Grimsby wanted.

I feel a bit sorry for Taylor to be honest. wtf would you expect them to say, if we lose saturday he's off ? its called being professional if you listened carefully to the whole meeting, MM makes a massive Freudian slip with regards to todays events, I mentioned it to scooter right after the meeting, but wasnt really appropriate to put it on here as it could have caused friction

Practically every post on Facebook & Twitter is calling for Moore to go. the whole reason we have a DOF if for a day like today, instead of us having a new guy come in with no idea what's going on in the window, contracts, this and that, its all in place, Moore has no input on the managers selections, formations, subs, its purely for a business point of view, 18 clubs in league one have a DOF

If it’s possible to be both surprised and unsurprised at the same time that’s where I’m at with this news. He’s been a dead man walking for a while and deserves to go, but on the back of a not appalling performance yesterday and Moore’s comments midweek the timing feels off. Why would you not sack him after Stevenage if he was on such thin ice?
100% the right call though, he’s been terribly unlucky with injuries and let down by poor recruitment (and lack of it in this window) but the performances, statistics and results speak for themselves. His pre and post match interviews have been hideous, the Peterborough pre and post match ones felt like Partridge-esque parody. They gave absolutely no confidence in me that he could ever turn it round.
The personal abuse at games will never sit easy with me though, for a man that never once attacked or criticised the supporters. Absolutely no problems with letting him and players know it’s not good enough, but telling him to **** off is unsavoury.
I’m not sure who would have him now, but if he does remain in football I hope he learns and recovers from this.
The fact we haven’t named a caretaker manager suspects we may well have a certain someone lined up and ready to come in immediately 🤔

Feel sorry for Taylor as he’s a good guy but it’s the right thing to do. Hurst rumours are strong and he was spotted at the meadow last week so wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in a few days
