Quite agree but don’t forget there are a fair few supporters who get annoyed if the “Manager “ doesn’t acknowledge them after the game . It’s all part of the match day experience 😂😂

Yes I guess it’s a different generation of supporters and managers.
Also I guess the relief of a goal being scored when you know your job is on the line must be huge so a reflex action?

No word on caretaker, and to be honest other than Parrish (if he is still here), no obvious options.
Surely new boss needed by Northampton game, and to make decisions must have been at some training sessions, so should be in place by Thursday really. But who knows!

I've often found him quite condescending, he was as bad as Cotterill in interviews, just coy and polished about it like a lying politician. I won't miss the endless questions he asked himself and then answered them, they were driving me mental. "Can we do better? Yes" 🙄 He's a really nice guy on the face of it, but if he wants a successful career he needs to focus on his football coaching! Glad it's not just me who found his interview technique mildly irritating Seems like a nice bloke, but has as much charisma as a courgette He just never really said anything! Not exactly uncommon but I didn't get much inspiration from it

I would imagine the next head coach was pretty much earmarked otherwise there would be a "temporary man in charge" mentioned.

The logic of having a Director of Football is in part for this very situaton where the DoF can step in an manage the 1st team and oversea transfers while the process of finding a new coach takes place. So nows really the time for him to step up and take the helm. Who knows we might go on a great winning run with Moore in charge of the team and he can then appoint himself as manager!

Hey, if GT could be the Chairman and Manager of Hereford, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit!

I don't think he is stupid enough to put himself in that position I don't think he has a choice - it's in the nature of the job to oversee all football matters, including cover while there's no head coach around.

The lower league lampard. Excellent playing career, dog awful coach, even worse tactician and nauseating in press conferences. Also fell upwards though not any longer. Yes, another ex-Premier League star who has failed miserably as a manager. The likes of him, Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard and Neville have played under some of the best managers in the business and it's amazing how little they have absorbed and put into practice.

Entirely fair comment, but is it fair to suggest, in contrast, that Alan Durban may have picked up useful information from playing under the legendary OBE....?
