Can't remember Ojo doing much against Winchester and Hinchy away at Vale but best of luck to the guy.

I'm not concerned about this season to be honest......I'm concerned about the clubs future existence.....

It only takes a quick look online to see that Ojo has played a variety of positions, which is exactly what this small squad needs.
Whether he’s any good remains to be seen.

Very interesting last day of the transfer window didn't really expect what happened to have come through but in saying that I wish our two new recruits all the best for the for the season ahead I hope that they can add value and success to our campaign, I also hope Harrison gets what he needs from his loan move and comes back better for it.

I’m guessing most people are up this early to join the Oasis queue!

Disappointed with Ivan Toney , he seemed the kind of player most premier clubs needs , gone to Saudi = goodbye England career
United having to sell home grown Scot mcktominay just to stay within the rules
Chelsea's long contracts catching up with them
Just when you think the games gone mad , it gets even more crazy

The main benefit for England supporters is that he’ll be jogging around a pitch for most of the season and be super fit for the major tournaments as he hasn’t had to play an entire gruelling European season!

But I'm guessing he will make big money out of it if that's all he is interested in.

I like your logic winchester is injured, we need a centre back and you are claiming negligence all those threads and polls you started wanting Hurst back too ;-) Winchester is injured so you sign Gilliead, fine. Currently we now have Ojo, Gilliead, Rossiter, Winchester and we could have kept Biggins as a backup option instead of Ojo. On the other hand we have Pierre, Toto and Feeney who've been leaker than a sieve and the other Feeney is out for the next three months and back at Villa. That is absolute negligence on a grand scale based on what we've seen over the first 6 games. where did you get the injury update on feeney being out for 3 months ?

Asked a port Vale sth his opinion of OJO His reply as follows
"I'd have him in our team but Darren Moore has signed so many he doesn't know what's on front of him. Our best player promotion season, 8 out of 10 most games first half of last season but was poor in a poor team after that. Good defensive mid who can link the play.kit man will hate him because he cuts all his socks🙈"
So could be decent yet !!

What an "interesting" transfer deadline day 🫤 yes, we've got rid of a player who didnt fit in and against all odds brought in TWO new faces, imagine anyone judging them seconds after they have been announced, embarrassing You right I’ll be judging them based on how successful we are on the pitch along with the rest of the team. Not feeling optimistic but prepared to put my faith in Moore /Hurst that they know what they’re doing. Feeling half empty at the moment, hopefully feel more confident in 8 days time 🤞

Looking at Salford City's squad after I saw Jon Taylor had gone there from Doncaster.
I noticed Tyrese Fornah is a loan player from Derby for the season. Surprised he is in league 2 . After he left us he went to Reading so expected a similar move and it would appear a move to us could have happened if he was prepared to go to Salford!!

That being said, who can blame him at 28 or so taking a £350k a week TAX free contract when he spent the majority of his career so far in league 1/2

Ojo us a good player when his mind is on it and things are doing well. In his 2 seasons at vale in th first season he was good untill around January time then his performances dropped like the teams performance did and ended up with Daryl Clarke getting the sack. In the second season again he was really good first half of the season up untill around Christmas time, then performances and team results dipped resulted in manager sacking. Ojo then got stripped of the captaincy by new manager Darren Moore and basically put in half arsed displays the rest of the season resulting in relegation.

What a mess this club is in, we needed two center backs and a left back to stop us leaking like a sieve at the back which is costing us games. Iv no idea what logic Hurst used to not reinforce our big weaknesses.
It is going to be a long season unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat

We are preparing a team for our promotion push out of L2 next year Opinion based upon......er just three league matches. Time's definitely running out.......only 43 matches left to play.

We are preparing a team for our promotion push out of L2 next year as daft as it sounds you could be right, imagine if we didnt have a plan in place for next season, that would be unthinkable

Iv no idea what logic Hurst used to not reinforce our big weaknesses. It is going to be a long season unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat So easy isn't it? Why didn't he just pop along to Home Bargains and pick up a couple of centre-backs and a left-back off the shelves.

It looks like Ojo has played sweeper before so perhaps that might help address the yawning chasm in our central defence.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to the must-read Harrison Biggins' interview in the programme today in which he tells us how much he loves the club and is looking to help us progress up the league. Comedy gold! Should be a collector's item.

Its nothing to do with games left to play, its the make up of the squad. With the exception of the loanees they are other L1 clubs cast offs and good L2 players .Hurst will need to work a miracle to get a tune out of them. His demeanor suggests that he's not under any pressure from above to produce a miracle. Just looking at some of the signings and loans in L1 in the last couple of days suggests that we cannot compete this season,is it too early to start planning for next season? Defeatist or realistic?..you tell me
