yes, we've got rid of a player who didnt fit in and against all odds brought in TWO new faces, imagine anyone judging them seconds after they have been announced, embarrassing I've not judged anyone though. never said you did, I was commenting on the interesting transfer dealing day where plenty have on here |

heres a recap of today nothing actually planned apart from a quiet day player out of favour gone out of loan new player in seems to me like its any excuse for some to moan even if normal things are happening One in, one out is normal. A player out of favour and sent out on loan three games after he was signed is not normal. A bench that wasn't filled for the third game of the season is not normal. If you want to normalise those things, the club's standards must have sunk even lower than I thought. we were told no more signings today, instead we have 2 extra players in the squad and we still have a little meltdown hilarious to watch |

Hurst has lost the plot. What a waste of wages. No offence to the lad but he will get very little game time unless there is something drastic we don't know. With that said I expected nothing from Benning and he has come good. Why won’t he get game time? We’ve got four players, Winchester, Perry, Rossiter and Ojo vying for two places in the team. Winchester and Rossiter are both already injured. |

Think he's still a bit of a utility player who can play a few roles. But still, it seems a rushed back up option rather than someone that's actually going to have a genuine impact on the first team.
Especially as 6 loans means 1 cannot feature.
Like Gilliead and other signings, it's a low cost signing that feels like a player (and team) who are competing at league two level.
Very few of the permanent signings feel like a genuine coup at this level. And that's just indicative of where the club is at.
Didn't expect anything from today, so nothing hugely negative from one going and two coming in, but just highlights the difficulties of here the club is at.

Benning has been appalling so far this season, totally and utterly out of his depth Appalling is harsh, not up to his high standards of last season just yet but we all know he has the ability to influence games with his attacking ability. |

At his first Q and A at the open evening with Taylor, Micky Moore said that he'd sign "good people over good players".
Just looking at Ojo's wiki it looks like he's a real gem of a person as well as a player.
"He entered a not-guilty plea to a charge of assault for an incident that took place following a Scottish Premiership match at Tannadice Park in November 2021. Ojo admitted he had "squared-up" to an opposition fan, and was fined £400 after being found guilty of pushing the man and knocking his glasses off, though the punch Ojo had thrown was ruled to have been in self-defence."
Great character in the dressing room he'll be.

I honestly believe that PH has decided that we are well and truly in the sh*te and he is hoping that the players that worked for him previously will help him out again. The only problem is that most of them seem to have their best days behind them!

Gilliead I’m totally bemused by, surplus to requirements at a league two club and signs for us in league one???
Biggins signed in July and shipped out on loan August.
Just bonkers!!!

A cynic may suggest that these signings are indicative of PH losing the dressing room and he needs friendly faces in there pronto. It doesn't matter that these players cannot get minutes in L2 never mind L1.
My biggest issue is when the inevitable happens in a few weeks and we are left struggling to recruit a new manager. No one will touch this s**tshow of a squad with a bargepole. PH has left us in the Doodoo yet again.
