"And that concludes our transfer business". Absolute negligence with our centre back options.
Ojo on loan from a league below us, 33 and a player in a position we have lots of options in. Worry is that tells us Winchester is more badly injured than we think.

Another midfielder, another former Hurst player, another coming from league two.
I mean I just can’t make sense of it anymore. Hopefully he’s an asset though.

I like your logic winchester is injured, we need a centre back and you are claiming negligence all those threads and polls you started wanting Hurst back too ;-)

Another strange one considering that’s the position we have the most options in. Had to be a defender, surely.

No mention of it being a loan. "We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Funso Ojo from Port Vale!"

On another cheery note, O’Brien scored the winner for Shelbourne tonight!

Im utterly lost at our transfer logic but hope it all works out at Salop .. must be something more than a footballing reason for Biggins departure though surely . Not sure if its to do with the overspend but there seems no rationale at all in our transfer activity .

Currently we now have Ojo, Gilliead, Rossiter, Winchester and we could have kept Biggins as a backup option instead of Ojo. On the other hand we have Pierre, Toto and Feeney who've been leaker than a sieve and the other Feeney is out for the next three months and back at Villa. That is absolute negligence on a grand scale based on what we've seen over the first 6 games.

Thoroughly depressing day. We have no identity, no continuity, and no connection, and are reduced to loaning a 33 year old from the division below

Do you get the feeling that MM went to PH with a list of players and PH looked at them and went “Naajh, they’re sh*te, I’ll pick my own”! It’s starting to look that way!

What an "interesting" transfer deadline day 🫤 yes, we've got rid of a player who didnt fit in and against all odds brought in TWO new faces, imagine anyone judging them seconds after they have been announced, embarrassing

Hurst has lost the plot.
What a waste of wages. No offence to the lad but he will get very little game time unless there is something drastic we don't know.
With that said I expected nothing from Benning and he has come good.

heres a recap of today nothing actually planned apart from a quiet day player out of favour gone out of loan new player in seems to me like its any excuse for some to moan even if normal things are happening One in, one out is normal. A player out of favour and sent out on loan three games after he was signed is not normal. A bench that wasn't filled for the third game of the season is not normal. If you want to normalise those things, the club's standards must have sunk even lower than I thought.

If someone has the time, can they please list the current squad, including loanees! I’ve got it as 2 keepers, about 6 defenders, Christ knows how many midfielders and 5 forwards, but I could be wrong!
