Good listen that, thanks for sharing. It would have been good if they could have spoken a little more about Price joining Town under Ricketts. Be interesting to know how close that was (if at all). I guess not quite how he planned things to pan out when it comes to joining Town but who knows, perhaps he can get back to some sort of fitness to play a part someway or another.

Glad after all the talk it's finally happened, curious to see his fitness levels however I imagine even if he continued playing with a leg missing he'd still offer more to our midfield than Kenneh or Perry.

If he was born in Shrewsbury why does he need international clearance? Plus, if there was any lieklehood he would play for any club couldn't any clearances have been ok'ed ready for that eventuality?

His registration will be held by the US football federation. But doubt it's as complicated to get it back here to his home country than compared to a New Zealander to the UK (via Eire). Who knows the initial moves might already have been started.

How is there 20+ posts on international clearance? It's not rocket science ...
Where was his last registration held? US
Where is he playing now? UK
Hence international clearance ...

When my granddaughter who lives in S'bury became 16 she had to get international clearance to continue playing for TNS as U17 team play in Wales. It took over two weeks.

all depends on fitness I guess and none of us have a clue what shape he's in, Β cant see Roland even making the bench again this season Another one likely to be loaned back to Ireland? Providing we survive I'm quite looking forward to seeing what happens during the summer as Hurst shapes his squad.Providing,of course, that PH stays [/quote] Id like to see Idowu and maybe Mata stay in England myself. Feels like it's been a while since town loaned out youngsters to clubs down the leagues. Time to get better relationships with local clubs I think. Why not next season at Solihull, Kiddy or Tamworth? Although at least Mata is playing back at Sligo. Started every game so far for them

To me, sensible would be a work permit style, with a player able to register other countries in addition to his home country.
It looks like an unfair restriction on a player's freedom to work to have his registration to work held by a country, rather than the individual. If I went to work in another country I wouldn't expect to have to ask that country if I could work if I came back to Britain.
And what's this with TNS, Wales FA/English FA registration? My passport says I'm British.

Hurst mentioned more likely coming off the bench. I suspect he might look to use him when we're looking to protect something but time will tell...π all depends on fitness I guess and none of us have a clue what shape he's in, cant see Roland even making the bench again this season He is way too busy supervising the club to do that!

He is a little past his best to play a full game these days, though possibly still better than a few of the playing options we have signed this season.

Really hoping he can prove his fitness from the bench for the rest of the season and earn a new contract for next season at least. Getting a full close season behind him injury free would give us a quality player. He is a local lad who really wants to end his career at his home town club. He was very well liked by supporters of Wolves in his Championship days both as a player and a person. He will be great to have around the club.

He's also not turned up here at 34/35 either, without his injury 31 is the real peak of his experience and career. Hopefully he recovers well π
