Give it 5 minutes and one of the managers will appear that nobody likes.

Wonder how Hurst rates it? Talk of "waste of a job", but is he freeing up PH to concentrate on keeping us in League 1? Will we be attempting to secure the services of those we want to keep, rather than running down their contracts and disappearing? Will we have better outcomes for those coming to the end of their time in the academy? Have we got targets amongst those who other academies might release as surplus to their requirements?

The way Hurst is beginning to shape and influence the squad the clearer it becomes that the longevity of Mr Moore is a very fragile thing. And that can’t be a bad thing for the club going forward On face value that does seem the obvious school of thought, many of the players signed this season are no longer involved, our main signing of the summer has been sent out on loan and then in January, Hurst told Moore that one of his targets (believed to be be Ademola Ola-Adebomi) was not right for us. So of course you'd question what future Moore really has with us? But for all we know Moore & Hurst have built up a good working relationship and are planning for next season already (I would be surprised if that was the case to be honest)

What did they think of Darren Moore when he was announced ? Sounds like not too many have turned on him yet, they agree he has been given a s**t squad to try and save from relegation. Poor recruitment over the last two transfer windows, players not fit enough, loads of injuries...... hmmm, sounds like at least one other team down there with them 🙂

Since when did we take notice of Vale fans opinions anyway?

I’m pretty sure Moore was given a five year contract. I hope ours wasn’t !
