I suspect many would have done the same. I've taken great joy in reminding a work colleague that 24 hours ago he was moaning about the game, how it's pointless, is just a glorified net session and is why test cricket is dying The next test is at the same venue so will be interesting to see how that pans out now Confidence in the Pakistan camp will be rock bottom at the moment, they are on a dreadful run of test results. ...also their forth consecutive home defeat to England, according to Nassah Hussain on Sky Sports Cricket

It was a smashing Test match from England. Pakistan are a pretty bizarre team to try and judge.
For the first time since he has been standing in for Stokes, Popes captaincy particularly impressed, especially in the 2nd innings. Inventive fields challenging the Pakistan batsmen consistently.
A great start to the series.
👌👌👌

Same pitch used in the first test to be used in the second test.
Cracks started opening up and misbehaving in the Pakistan second innings, so it will be interesting to see how it plays. I’ve never ever seen a pitch used twice for back to back test matches before.
Stokes is back for Woakes and Potts in for Atkinson.
Pakistan have named three frontline spinners in their XI after omitting Babar Azam and pace bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah, surely giving an indication of what they expect the pitch to do.
England v spin……always a concern 😀😬😀😬

Pakistan nowadays seem like England in the 90's with their constant chopping and changing in selectors & players on the field

Enjoyed Saturday's W Indies vs England T20. Talksport 2 made a good fist of the commentary, kept the adverts to the break between innings for a start.
England scored a record equalling 218 but West Indies came back with a record 219 to win.
Best of all, they go again at 8pm tonight.
