India continue to dominate on the second day.
No surprise really.

Well they can't blame the pitch.... They've scored 375 for 3.....with two of them scoring hundreds...says it all really....a poor batting performance by England...again!!!🤦🤦

Our young spinners have done a brilliant job compared to expectations, but India still have the best quick in the world and three world class spinners.

My ratings for the England players in the series.
Crawley 7 averaged over 40 for the series Duckett 6 decent century and a few 20 to 30 scores Pope 5 one brilliant century in first test then garbage rest of the series Root 6 2 decent knocks and a few wickets but not the Joe root we are used to seeing Stokes 4 used his spinners well but his batting was terrible Bairstow 5 no score above 50 shouldn't be in the team Foakes 5 good glove work as expected but no score above 50 probably will be dropped for the summer tests. Ahmed 6 some good wickets but batting wasn't great for somebody that's meant be handy batter. Hartley 7 over 20 wickets in series plus made a few handy 20 or 30 scores with bat. Wood 5 no threat with the ball and had one good batting innings where we hit a quick fire 30 odd Robinson 5 got a useful 50 with the bat but bowling was poor and no threat Bashir 7 played 3 tests and plenty of wickets so looks a really good find by England. Anderson 5 didn't take many wickets but was good to see him reach the 700 test wickets mark. Leach 5 left tour due to injury didn't do much in first test really anyway Lawrence and Atkinson didn't play

I don’t foresee us being able to compete with India in Tests, cricket has become a minority participation sport in this country whereas it’s played by millions in India.
How many State schools offer cricket on their sports curriculum? I’d guess it’s a minority.

One milestone from this test series though, Jimmy Anderson has become the first pace bowler to take 700 Test wickets.
An amazing achievement.
