93rd minute equaliser for Carlisle. What a shame! Waterfall with a howler apparently.

It can't be much fun to have to support a team with Waterfall, Hendrie, Payne and The Shop in the squad!

93rd minute equaliser for Carlisle. What a shame! Waterfall with a howler apparently. Had only brought on Waterfall as a sub to count the clock down at 90+1. Then another sub at 90+2. Then let in the equaliser at 90+3. π€£π€£π€£π€£ PMSL even more when I read that.

The only howler I saw was a Carlisle player blast over from a yard out!

Alby, admittedly with SC on the phone, is a far better option than one trick pony Hurst, even after only a few months in management.
When you look at the "names" in league 2, it makes me realise we are doing ok, should now be still in league 1 next season. I mean, for goodness sake, Grimsby, Carlisle, even Leyton Orient, are languishing in league 2.

Yeh, and Wrexham long term residents of the pub league below π Sutton look to be winning that League. Wrexham to blow the play offs. I would much prefer to see Torquay come back up but they are doing a good job in bottling things at the minute. Think they have a huge injury list which isnt helping though.

Always a good away day there. Proper football ground!

It can't be much fun to have to support a team with Waterfall, Hendrie, Payne and The Shop in the squad! At least two of those were part of a team that gave me a lot of fun in 2017/18...

But the thing is that they were accompanied by Henderson, Godfrey and the like which probably covered up a lot. Iβve always thought that Hurst was lucky in that regard. He just happened on one of those flukes in life where everything just falls into place. It just doesnβt happen that often.

Three were here that season (Waterfall came afterwards). If you could ever turn the clock back to replay that season all those three would be ones you would want to replace with better players being brutally honest.

Grimsby 8 points from safety now baring in mind the goal difference. Canβt see them staying up!

That's exactly what Hurst thought. Whereas a smart football manager scouts new talent and raids Premier League academies.

See neither Payne nor the Shop (nor anyone else) could score in Grimsby's 1 shot on target today in their 0-0 home draw to Colchester today.
6 points (+ massive minus GD) to safety.
Looking very much like they can look forward to playing the likes of Kings Lynn and Wealdstone next season, wonder if PH will still be there π
