3rd win in a row for Barrow.
Grimsby are now 9 points adrift with a vastly inferior goal difference.

Grimsby and Barrow both got 13 games to go. Grimsby need to win 4 of them to move above Barrow without Barrow picking up any more points.
Not impossible but getting tougher all the time.
Grimsby home to Tranmere tomorrow night, one to watch out for.

Yes, at top of the table Cheltenham. Probably on a par with us winning at Hull.

Goalless draw tonight not good enough, they need to start winning.

Well done Grimsby on their 0-0 draw tonight with Tranmere.
3 shots on target, 1 of them from LJL...😲
8 points adrift of safety with 11 games left, 1 less than Barrow.

Wouldn't most clubs have binned off Hurst by now in a desparate attempt to survive?

Wouldn't most clubs have binned off Hurst by now in a desparate attempt to survive? He hasnt been there long, think he was brought in as a last desperate attempt tbh. And we didnt get rid of Ratcliffe.

And we didnt get rid of Ratcliffe. If I was Chairman and I saw Hurst's first great idea to save us was to bring in his old gang I would have binned him off straight away. Wonder if he was asked what he would do to save them in his interview? Was his answer: "I'll bring in some of my old pals who had a good season at Shrewsbury a few years ago"?
Maybe they are just planning for a promotion push back into the league next season?

Wrexham have been doing that since 2008!

Wrexham have been doing that since 2008! Surprised those new "Town" benefactors there haven't released plans to get into the Premier league and aiming for European football - the Welsh Premier League that is.

Clear motivation is to produce a documentary about the club. It has been suggested that making the documentary is a key factor in the takeover. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54973357

Do they mean to make it a ‘global force’ or a global fArce - have the BBC made a typing error?

'While neither of Wrexham's new owners profess to be football experts, they are clearly enticed by the idea of a challenge and seem to feel an affinity for the town itself, with McElhenney making comparison to the "blue collar" town being similar in mindset to his native Philadelphia'.
Philadelphia must be some sort of hell hole then.

And once the documentary project is completed bin Wrexham? Probably. They are talking about an 8 part series with Netflix paying up to £800k per hour of content to them. Can't lose. Still, I note that Hamilton and Guterman are no longer disqualified from being Directors if they are looking for a future buyer! However, doesn't the uni own the ground? These 2 actors have taken over the Club.

But he knows LJL by now surely, he just isnt a goalscorer gilt edged opportunity or not. Why on earth is Payne being left on the bench, got a slightly better chance of him scoring.
