That nice Lord Brownlow doesn't only try to help Boris with his bills. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6204645/Samantha-Camerons-fashion-brand-bankrolled-one-Tory-partys-biggest-donors.htmlSamantha Cameron is attempting to rescue her fashion business with a summer collection intended to revive Covid-hit fortunes. In terms of what marketing people call ‘optics’, it probably doesn’t help that one of her Company Cefinn’s major investors is none other than Lord Brownlow of Shurlock Row, who’s thought to have paid £58,000 towards the cost of Boris Johnson’s Downing Street flat refurbishment. The truth is, in the four years since it launched, Cefinn has never made a profit.

Wouldn’t have thought she would have a problem. Isn’t her ghastly husband a millionaire?

That picture of him losing his temper with Starmer at PMQs doesn’t show a “loveable rogue”. The reality is he’s anything but that. The biggest issue for the Labour Party is that the working class identify with this bloke more than the party they’ve traditionally voted for. I get people saying Starmer should be going after the policies, but peeling back the mask is equally important. People vote on personality as well as policy. I don’t think we know what the working class is any more, or if it even exists in the way we’ve thought of it before, and I certainly don’t buy the notion that Johnson’s personal popularity is that great.
