Time for a change of what? Manager, which would have someone new inherit a squad of players without any room for movement until January? Or change the players within the next 24 hours? Unless there is another change I am missing then it would be interesting to know your proposed plans for improvement. perhaps what copthorne shrew means is a change of manager for one who is tactically aware and doesn't set up not to lose. Boring boring football from a tactically inept inexperienced manager. Jog on Ricketts. Will be in a relegation scr@p soon We're in the top half after a tough start, get a ****ing grip.

Had a good trip down, but probably one of the most forgettable towns you will ever visit. Saw the ropey pub opposite the station and walked past some pricey bars on the waterside, but couldn’t find anything else pre-match? Even struggled to find even a post match off licence... Polish shop near the station saved the day! The stand had a bit of character about it, but view of the pitch was poor, which is pretty outrageous given the £27 ticket price... I felt down about our performance during the match and on the way home. The formation and way we play seem a waste of time once we go a goal down, particularly if it’s early on, and I didn’t feel we really laid a glove on Ipswich who cruised to a fairly routine three points (it feels quite a while since we did the same tbh). I still feel our main issues are in midfield, Edwards form in particular is a real concern, and he could certainly do with an extended “rest”. Should have come in wasn’t at all ropey inside.... friendly clean and well furnished with footy on the TV... plenty of we’ll behave town fans and reasonable food only 5 mins from turnstiles.... What were you looking for?

Get a grip of yourself Until yesterday, our only loss was an undeserved 93rd minute deflected shot at MK Dons

I don't think anyone can argue that we didn't deserve to win at Accrington, even a point was undeserved.

You carry on looking at things in isolation, I and others will look at the whole. Yes, I know we struggle to find the net, hence unspectacular.

Oh and we struggle to find the net the other end. exactly what do you expect from us ? we were in a play off spot just over a week ago we are an average league 1 side which is an improvement on last season that still means we dont win every week it means we dont score every week it means we could quite easily get thumped away to the league leaders it means our reserve XI is quite weak in 133 years we have ONCE been promoted to the 2nd tier and yet some people expect this every season we play port vale this week we might not play our strongest side we might even lose get real

It’s a bit of a weird analogy I know but this season feels a lot like us under Gary Peters where we made the playoffs. We aren’t spectacular, we are well drilled and have a solid back line. Will we absolutely smash teams? No. Will we grind out results and 1-0 wins? Yes. Will we go to better teams and lose comfortably? Absolutely. But we will be in the midtable of this league come the end of the season and then we build from there upwards.

But we will be in the midtable of this league come the end of the season and then we build from there upwards. I certainly think we have a solid base, it may not be quite there and we may get it wrong sometimes, but the plan is obviously to build for the king haul. If that begins with setting up not to lose then great because it provides a point of stability and hopefully strength for coming seasons. We may not always perform well, we may even be very poor at times but it's the result that counts in the end and if the results leave us in midtable, even lower midtable, that will be a success as we can then begin to build in a sustainable manner with a cohesive plan.

The lack of goals is a slight concern, but if we sign a number 9 who hits the ground running and create more from attacking midfield we'll challenge for 7th-12th I feel.

We could , of course , go for absolute broke and spend loads on players in the hope that they will guarantee us promotion to the promised land . History tells us it doesn’t work and more than likely we will end up like Bury F C . Yes , I moan like hell about Town most of the time but really , deep down I know what we are and who we are , We are doing O K at the moment and I honestly think we will do well this season . Perhaps a play off place ? If not yet another season in the third tier beckons-.how many clubs would love to say that !

Never mind Bury..look what has happened to Yeovil after they achieved Championship status.
And to Chesterfield and Leyton Orient after they lost Division 1 play offs.
All ended up in non League.
The Munto takeover at Notts County didn't help them much either.

in a nutshell we need to score first & grind it out otherwise if opposition score first we will struggle to get 2 to win,got lucky at a poor accrington side , 50/50 split at moment some fans happy with our start others can see the football is boring and setup not to lose.
