ps walsall considering they were going down , great effort from them including one epic song, im sure someone will know what it was I really should know better than to rise to this by now but the irony of someone who claims certain fans hope Town lose so they can have a pop at Ricketts themselves constantly having a pop at our own supporters is too great, particularly as Walsall's group had a number if fans ejected throughout the game, had several individuals who did nothing other than gesticulate at block 19 throughout the game, brought the usual cliche sheep to wave at us and gave plenty if abuse during the 90 minutes, not to mention some unpleasantness on Oteley Road afterwards my friends and I had to wade through to get out of the ground. In short, all the stuff that Pilch likes to have a whinge at Block 19 about. For what it's worth, I was in 19 on Saturday and heard no more than the usual level of abuse and plenty of pro Town songs. The "g***s" stuff and the sectarian one are disappointing but there's only actually a minority of people who join in with those and they're mostly too young to know any better. I'm actually really, really bored to tears reading this nonsense so I'm going to offer you a deal; Accept the olive branch and come and actually watch the first home game of next season from the west stand. If you still think the people who watch the game from there are a bunch of despicable thugs and can back up that argument then fair enough but I suspect you'll realise that the vast, vast majority are just ordinary people who like to watch the game in a more raucous atmosphere. So there you go, cards on table; I'll even buy you a half time pint on the concourse.

Good luck for next season.
From our point of view it is an absolute disgrace that we have been relegated after the start we had and considering we had to play plenty of teams around us towards the end of the season.
We (the fans) fear non-league football is not far round the corner.
Our owner (Walsall's number 1 fan) earns £440k rent every year into his Pension, the club has to pay all upkeep costs, we had a budget that was regarded as mid table league 2, basically we are up the proverbial creek.
Bury are 19mil in debt but can find a buyer, yet we have little to no debt yet the club has been on the market for years.
Anyway, as I said earlier, good luck.

I don't think having Steve Dale as their new owner will benefit Bury too much. They are due in front of the High Court again on 15th May. blueandamber.proboards.com/thread/99031/bury-again

I think the fact of paying £440k rent every season whilst taking care of the upkeep will likely be putting off most potential buyers, unless that arrangement can be scrapped. You wonder what the asking price is for the club?

You wonder what the asking price is for the club? Thats the whole point of not being able to sell the club as the club and ground are seperate. We believe the club would cost about £4-5 mil and the land (as the are 2 seperate entities) would cost around £9mil.

Hence why nobody has purchased you when they could take a club like ours for in the region of £10-12m which would be a far, far better buy. Better ground, better training facilities, better catchment area, the list goes on.
