12 minutes left against a league 2 side and I would not bet a penny that we equalise.

Not the best time to change the manager with the prospect of a change of ownership on the horizon.

Burton away next game in the league, with Hurst in charge he will change the team again. No wonder the defense lets in so many, one week Toto plays, next week Pierre, both are not league two defenders, let alone league 1. He drops Benning then brings him back, then drops Nurse, no sence at all.

Not the best time to change the manager with the prospect of a change of ownership on the horizon. How do you know there is a change of ownership on the horizon? There has been nothing in the press that I have seen to suggest there is a take over soon. Roland is totally disrespectful to the loyal fans who have watched this rubbish for years. Paul Simpson Sam Ricketts John Askey Micky Moore Paul Hurst (2nd time around) The list goes on, all poor managers which Roland signed, paid money to Grimsby in compensation for Hurst first time around and agrees to players having their contracts paid up. My brother worked for him years ago at s**t=re vending and said he was an arrogant person, leopards do not change their spots. Rant over

We are a small league 1 team that's fighting relegation every season with a mediocre budget (usually). We cant afford or attract quality managers at this level.

The grimness of our league situation not alleviated a jot by today's cup outing. Too much to ask for, I suppose.

6 wins in 37 matches. He's stealing a living as a League Manager 1. I'd rather have a ****ing potato sitting on the bench and just let the players pick their positions out of a hat - it could barely be any worse.

It’s just been suggested that the players are not playing for the manager. I agree with that …..,in other words Hurst has lost the dressing room. It is a melt down and Hurst must go.

Its not about being a small club, its about making the correct decisions, which looking at Roland's record on appointing managers has been very poor. I would like to see a Eric Ramsey type take over the role (some one who knows the club), but the biggest thing is to get a new owner as Roland may be a successful business man, but he is not a good judge of person in my opinion. The proof of this is letting Hurst come back, which has badly mis fired.

There's been little to no improvement from Taylor. From the home games I've been to there is little interest in actually attacking teams and when you can't defend it isn't going to end well. Having said that, is the squad good enough for any manager to get a tune out of?

It's been years since we last went out of the cup this early, too. May end up being a factor in whatever comes next.

This doesn't mean that the starting line up have had their chance and can be disregarded again. Put Bloxham in from the start and we might have had a chance. We still miss Leahy leadership...

Cant say Ive ever been as fed up of STFC as I am now, quite obvious that a change as manager needs to happen and whether the excuse "a sale is close by" is just not good enough. Hurst is terrible and thats being very easy on him. Even when we got relegated to the non league I wasnt as fed up as I am now, I could see why they clung on to Ratcliffe, he was at the helm vs Everton, Hurst has done zilch on his return, worst manager weve ever had in my eyes
and yes we lost, im moaning, but I simply dont care no more

Look on the bright side I say . No more cup matches to bother about with the chance of our players getting injured and out for weeks. No, we can now fully concentrate on securing our place in League 1. Happy Days .
