Is Mr Marquis really Nigel Jemson reincarnate It's better than we've had the first quarter of the season for sure.

Regarding rossiter,I would play him further forward, he's one player that can pass a ball,no arguments about that.where was his position at other clubs, further forward,or defensive midfielder? I don't think he has played enough games for anyone to decide his best position

Is Mr Marquis really Nigel Jemson reincarnate It's a good comparison. When he played against us I always felt that was one of those strikers who didn't do a lot of running and spent more time diving & moaning at people (naturally as he is now playing in blue & amber, he's not a cheat but is 'clever')

Marquis and Rossiter will be good additions but they have been risks, Rossiters injury record and the thought that Marquis is over the hill. I think they will turn out well for Town.
In many ways it will be down to Hurst and Doig as to how well they can get the most out of them all.
Hopefully an easier run of games coming up.

I hope not! It has to be one of Ojo or Rossiter for me. Otherwise we are too defensive. Unless we spend training this week getting one of them to push forward. That starting 11 has Benning and Castledine to create goals otherwise it's just hit and hope with a lot of running. I do agree that having two of Winchester, Ojo and Rossiter could be seen to be too defensive, particuarly if we are playing 5 at the back, although i can't get on board with the idea that Benning is one our creative options! Assuming we play with 3 central midfields I'd ideally prefer one of Rositter, Ojo and Winchester to sit with Castledine and TOR ahead of them. However I do appreciate that is putting a bit onus on that one defensive midfielder and therefore I suspect it will always be one of TOR and Leo. If we go back to 17/18 in the middle 3 we had a nice balance of ballwinner (Ogogo), box to box (Godfrey) and playmaker (Nolan). We have plenty of midfielders but I'm not sure who the best 3 are to give us the best balance, I've realised that I've omitted Shipley from the discussion so that's another option too. Benning was involved in 3 of our goals on Saturday. Not sure how you can't see he is not one of our main attacking threats.

Bennings a strange one....been poor defensively, everybody will agree with that.....but he's done well on the attacking front, and yes he has assisted in a number of goals this season......needs to tighten up a lot defensively....to weak in the tackle, and needs to close down his man quicker๐

The team currently top of the Premier League second most creative player is probably their right back.

No match day programmes available at Crawley. I saw a Town fan with a printed team sheet (A4). Is this common now? Smithy would not be pleased!

Smithy would really be unhappy (as I am having a collection of Town games going back almost complete to the mid 50s).
