Wrexham won't go up. They'll come close but there's at least six bigger/more equipped sides than them. I hope they get to the playoff final and lose. And for all their riches and razamataz, they'll have literally spent millions of pounds to achieve what we did only several years earlier. They'll beat us Saturday but what a hateful bunch they are. The only club where rats like Paul Mullin are celebrated and someone like James McClean can be made captain. Money can't buy class it seems. I don’t think we’ll go up and the vast majority of Wrexham fans have reasonable expectations for this season. Back-to-back-to-back promotions have never been achieved and it’s not necessarily a good thing. We’re not ready off the pitch and have too many players under contract who can cope with L1 football but would really struggle in the level above.

I'd also happily take a defeat on Saturday as long as you still get relegated. I think there's a few of us farmers who wish the same 💪

By all means take the p**s out of our football club, after your years in non league and us p**sing ourselves at your attempts to get back in, it's payback time and sadly (for us), it's payback on steroids as we are heading in complete opposite directions. But I still chuckle at Wrexham fans and this farmers/wurzels stuff. I can understand that when you play a club from a big city or built up area, to them we are a little backwater town in the sticks. But seeing it coming from a little town (sorry, city) in North Wales, very entertaining. Its because of your ugly accent. Something's not right at all there. A real head scratcher. I can't decide whether I want us to absolutely stuff you with a cricket score or for it be a tight game and then in the dying minutes Sir Paul Mullin dives, wins us a penalty which McClean takes and scores. I'd also happily take a defeat on Saturday as long as you still get relegated. A defeat for us whilst surprising would not be anything to get worried about. As the world knows the direction we're heading in. You're kind of in a no win situation as whatever happens you're still getting left behind in every single aspect. That must be hard to accept. "Our ugly accent" Pot calling the kettle there 🤣🤣 Absolute gall of this club.

Don’t feed the troll. Some of what he says is true to be fair, but the goading and the superiority complex just embarrasses himself. Hopefully he has egg on his face come 5pm Sunday and we can pile in, but until then best to enjoy a dignified silence. I agree

Is there many going on the 'football special' 😀😳cos parking is s**t there!! It is non existent my sister lives near the ground and all the surrounding estates have become a car park for Wrexham fans since they have had a change of fortune, she does not use her car on home games she knows she will have a car blocking her drive way.

My horse and cart is unavailable Saturday and my Dad’s tractor is needed to harvest the turnips so I’m getting the train. Are they likely to put on anymore carriages or is it just going to be a free for all? In the good old days they’d have a ‘football special’, I’m assuming those days are long gone? Where’s best for a pint? Given its Transport for Wales..... expect 1 coach

I'd rather have Leo Castledine in the ranks than Mullin or McClean any day. Yeah, of course you would.

Really? Nothing wrong in parking on local ‘estates’ but actually blocking drives isn’t on. Surely they can do something about that? Pre paid for parking 10 mins away, ECP Island Green ?? Could be hell!

The plas coch retail park does not allow match day parking and is monitored for I think 2 hours max. the Ramada hotel offers parking for matches I think for £5 Island Green would be either £2.50 for 3 hours or £6 for up to 4 hours but is always busy on a weekend.

You really are a card arent you eh? 🙄 Quick question, in the admittedly unlikely event that you dont win on Saturday are you still going to be willy waving on Blue and Amber in the days after the game? We know that Noto will suddenly disappear into thin air, will you as well?

Not expecting too much to be honest as it's always difficult for a plucky underdog like ourselves taking on the club's pumped to the eyeballs with cash.
That being said fancy our younger lads to cause some of their aging 5k a week crudgers some issues and of course the satisfaction of only having to go to these festering post industrial spice addled s**t holes one maybe two times a season.

Parking at Island Green is probably the best option. Short walk to the ground and in the town centre for food and drink.

Quite a poignant match up to be fair. Epitomises the modern game in this country.
A proper football club with a tiny budget representing its local community, taking on a huge plastic franchise with a bottomless pit of foreign cash and a global fanbase of glory-hunting bandwagoners.
Football will be the real winner if we manage to get an unlikely result.

I'd rather have Leo Castledine in the ranks than Mullin or McClean any day. That's a great hypothetical question if we were given the choice of exactly that ( I mean owning Leo instead of loaning ) I think I would go with him too , I can see him making it far bigger than the other 2 have , they have both passed their selll by date and the best before date is probably 2022 too 😝

Will be interesting to see how PH plays it on Saturday. Darren Ferguson was boasting about his side’s possession after the game, but he doesn’t seem to realise that’s PP’s tactic. We’re rock bottom of the possession table this season with 35%, and yet have scored 8, conceded 2. I think PH may concede possession and in doing so ask us some questions.

The Wynnstay in the centre of our City with hourly rates available didnt quite meet their requirements

We’re rock bottom of the possession table this season with 35%, and yet have scored 8, conceded 2. I think PH may concede possession and in doing so ask us some questions. We allowed Leyton Orient to have 70% of the ball at the Meadow on Saturday and walked away from it with our first points of the season, so I’d be very surprised if Hurst goes for anything particularly ambitious. We also played very compact and deep away to Huddersfield which was one of our better showings this season. Really since his return to the club, we’ve been far more effective away from home, so naturally I hope that continues. Looking at the teams you’ve played, Reading, Bolton and Peterborough all love to keep the ball so this is the first game you’ll play against a bunch of cloggers, so to speak.

Let me guess the car. Austin Allegro with go faster stripes? You really are a card arent you eh? 🙄 Quick question, in the admittedly unlikely event that you dont win on Saturday are you still going to be willy waving on Blue and Amber in the days after the game? We know that Noto will suddenly disappear into thin air, will you as well? I might be able to check in at some point, its clearly your cup final and the loser mentality runs so deep in your fan base now that you've all already pretty much given up hope before a ball is kicked. Is this what its come to? So the elation on here would be something to behold, perhaps. Like watching kids in an orphanage open a present on Christmas morning, there's going to be lots of hugging. Win lose draw it doesn't matter though does it? We're a club heading onwards and upwards and you're spending the days up to a derby game making excuses, doom mongering and giving the team you supposedly support very little hope. If we don't win I might go round to chirkshrew's bedsit and ask if I can sit in on his next virgin meeting, cheer myself up and all that. Remind myself that it could be a lot worse and that nature/life can be so cruel at times.
