We last played at their place in 2007 in front of 4,305. They might be able to fool everyone else, but we remember how small their fanbase actually is. Yes and I’ll always remind them and anybody who will listen this, they are a smaller club than us and some plastic Hollywood tag alongs will never change this And the fact they did 15 years in non league 😂 Can’t stand them - come on Town You can remind me of this period in our history as many times as you like. We may have been playing in the NL. However, we the fans not only saved the club from extinction during this time, but also went on to run it with absolutely no assets at all. Just tenacity, a bit of know how and love for our club. So that 15 years was against all odds…… and what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. |

Fully expecting next Saturday to be an awful day for anyone associated with the famous blue and amber, they just have much better players than us, and are a team playing with confidence. If we can keep it tight we might be able to sneak a point or even better, so I remain hopeful, but god it’s depressing to have such little faith against a team we’ve spent the last 15 years laughing at.

Next week's game reminds me of the 3-3 draw there in 2003....we were s**t, especially away from home,wrexsham were flying and near the top I think... thought we'd get battered,but jemson and Rogers were brilliant that night,pity our defence wasn't.....great game tho....we will see how it pans out next week🤔🤔 My only trip to Wrexham, my memory tells me the first game was called off late due to a waterlogged pitch. I certainly had got to Wrexham before we knew it was off. That 3-3 was a hell of a game. |

Same line up as yesterday except Winchester for Hoole. Don't mess with a winning team, as long as everyone is fit. I agree. Except I don't think it will happen. I expect Marquis will start and what do we do with Bloxham and Sagoe? |

You are right... Called off....it was a Sunday 12 noon k.o.....i was actually at the ground when it was called off👍 We arrived at Wrexham station to be met by lots of grinning police who told us the game was off, we weren't being let out of the station and then it was about 45 minutes for the next train back to Shrewsbury. That was fun! All the games I've been to have either been a Tuesday night or Sunday lunchtime kick off. I'm not going Saturday but the police were in the pub before the game on Saturday doing their usual rounds and said there are some designated pubs for our fans, didn't catch what they were though |

Don’t think Nurse is even an option at CB to be honest. He’s a left back, I doubt he’s ever played in a centre back pairing in his life. Plus he’s been injured for two years. Looked really rusty in his cameo against Bolton, which is obviously understandable. Nsiala did ok on Saturday anyway. Certainly didn’t look a liability. He did in pre season and think he did before he came to town. But yeah he's primarily a Left Back. To expect him to start in a huge league game in his non natural position, after 2 years out is just unfair I think. I suspect there is a lot of mental work for him too to not have the trepidation of walking back onto the pitch. His 2 times on the pitch so far has been when the game was over right at the end of the match. I reckon that will continue for a fair bit and next step is coming on for a bit longer in a game that isn't over. 1-0 down 20 mins to go sort of thing. Will be interesting though, as he is on the bench that if town CB gets sent off or injured early on - what happens. Is he ready for first team football? Ojo has played centre back I believe and other players can if needed cover full backs (Gilliead, Winchester, Shipley), so although it's a very thin squad for Saturday, I would be amazed it Nurse plays an important part |

I doubt Nurse will be back as a decent 90 minute option till probably Christmas or just before. And I hope the backroom team all think like that as well for the players sake and future career. |

I'd rather have our kids out on loan playing games than warming a bench, bench is 7, max subs is 5, but only on three opportunities, our talent is getting game minutes, not wearing their training kit out polishing seats. As to the rest, cannot afford the turnips, or the fuel, am hoping the wind is in the right direction to hanglide there, lots of hot air coming up from powys on saturday to keep us afloat ;-) |
