Our first win of the season and just pure relief.when we scored it gave the players a boost and the crowd. It was nice to see town keep it on the ground more. Feeneywas solid as a CB, Perry worked incredibly hard in closing down play ,with some vital tackles and covered the gaps left behind Hole.[br ] Thought Gilliead looked solid today, Castledine and O Rielly linked up really well.
We did go a bit quiet after the goal but I wondered if this was tactical, as in the Peterborough game they quickly equalized.
Lloyd had two chances on goal and he should have done better with one of them but lacked composure in front of goal. I O Rielly was just stupid to get booked for kicking the ball away when Orient were awarded a free kick. But he did have a very good game but as he going in for some silly tackles it was prudent to sub him.[b With 20 minutes left town looked to running out of steam and were sitting deeper
]I'm one of the people suggesting Bloxham go as a center back so it just highlights I know nothing about football, a lovely first goal and relief for me that we had some breathing room . He also deserves credit for the composure and clinical finish when one on one with the keeper.his first goal took the pressure off town. But he really needs to work on his tracking back , Hoole was getting pulled into the center and Orients number 3 was in acres of space a better player would have taken us apart
This was a game town badly needed at least a point so the three goals and a win are a big bonus and we are off the bottom. Howere Orient whilst playing tidy football , did not press towns players, so we had plenty of time on the ball.thry also looked rather toothless in front of goal, there best chance was a shoot that hit the bar.

Caseldine on Radio Shropshire, what a level headed and mature young man.

You can only beat what's in front of you but we made Orient look really really poor today. They were great at passing it around the back, couple of quick passes to get to the final 3rd then they failed to do anything positive every single time. Other than hitting the bar I can not think of them having a shot.
My MOTM is Perry, he is like a new signing.
Special mentions Nsiala - I have given him plenty of criticism since his return but he was very good today Hoole - did not put a foot wrong and put in some great challanges. Castledine/O' Reilly - joy to watch there link up play Lloyd - for such a small lad he didn't half bully the Orient defence today. Bloxham - some strike for his 1st and great composure for his 2nd.
The ref - best we have had for a very long time, played advantage a lot, used his cards correctly and got almost everything right.

Yes the ref deserve some praise, the game flowed because he let it flow and was not been fussy or petty and not card happy

Savin had little to do. I think he made one save. They had a snapsnot off the crossbar too. But although they had loads of possession around the back 4, they couldn't do anything with it up front. Bloxham was such a super-sub!!

Not to be negative after a good result, but what’s happened to the atmosphere in the south stand? Dreadful today, barely any noise. Don’t think there was a single song until the goal. Drowned out by about a hundred lads in block 19 all game.

3 nil at home. I'm not going to overly analyse it, it's a win and that's all that matters
Let's hope it's a start of something

Town did well . I’m not a great fan of Hoole but fair play to him he did well. Perry surprised me, he was very energetic and gave everything in his role , can’t fault him. The new lads were very good particularly Castledine . Most of all I am delighted that Tom Bloxham got on the score sheet with a terrific strike for his first goal. His second goal, well, I thought he was going to find Marquis in the box but no, he wasn’t going to give up a chance for a second and duly scored . Brilliant. All in all I thought Town worked extremely hard all over the pitch and deserved to win. I think we are 20th now , but importantly managed to win which surely gives us some confidence . Too many are quick to criticise but with the money floating around this League to survive this season will be a bonus . May have to revise my prediction of a top 10 finish😂 though . Two hard games coming up let’s see what happens .
I have to agree with the call to take Shipley off dead ball situations - please no more it’s getting a bit ridiculous . Apart from that he had a good game . Come on Town, onward and Upward .

Whilst also agreeing with the comment about Shipley’s free kicks it is very noticeably that certain posters will never acknowledge the work he gets through during matches.

Listened on the Radio and it seemed a completely different feeling.
Making Feeney captain and bringing in Gilliead proved inspired.

Superb performance all round! My only gripe is can someone please stop Shipley from taking dead ball situations! Apart from that, excellent all everywhere.

Excellent performance and good to know that there is at least one team worse than us in this division.

Excellent performance and good to know that there is at least one team worse than us in this division. Talk about a back handed slap. If you cannot get positive after that performance god help you. Orient are a good team and their performance was very good. We stopped their threats and made their defense look ordinary.

So happy to be posting after a positive result and performance. Apart from the obvious class of Castledine and O'Reilly and the stirring exploits of Man-on- a - mission Bloxham I thought the standout was Perry in the holding midfield role. He ran and harried and tackled all game and then played the simple pass to the forwards - perhaps he has found his proper position in this team.

Pleasing signs to see. Good to get that first win and a very convincing one at that. Doesn't change my opinion mind.

No, there will be much harder games to come, but to put 3 against a poor side and keep a clean sheet is impressive, especially after the poor run.

Big Credit to them all.

We are going to have to play really well to get anything from Wrexham away and Charlton home but you never know. Personally I think it’s a big ask to get anything at Wrexham , they are doing very well and had a great win at Peterborough. Charlton also doing well , we always have a battle against them. So, let’s not get too excited after today’s result or too despondent if we don’t get anything from the next two matches. It’s going to be a long season for us in our financial position , we need to be tolerant and keep on supporting the team . I don’t think Hurst has settled on his best 11 yet but after today I honestly believe we will shock a few of the more fancied teams in this League as the season progresses . What I do find pleasing is the way the players worked so hard for one another , that’s what we want to see . Onward and Upward then .
