That was a much better second half, really professional, offered them nothing and attacked with purpose and direction
What a goal from Bloxham. Great finish
Well done Town. Great result and a big relief to be off the mark

Most enjoyable game in a while that, throughly enjoyed it. How Hurst has managed to get O’Reilly and Castledine to play for Salop is an unreal bit of business, both will definitely be Premier League regulars in the future. George Lloyd was brilliant up top and a shoutout to Gilliead who had a brilliant debut.
Well played Salop, happy Saturday everyone!!

Well done Town, that was excellent. Orient are a poor side but we did what we had to. Much better at the back and O'Reilly and Caseldine were both absolutely magnificent. Roll on Wrexham.

To be fair, I wasn’t there, but you can always guarantee that when we finally get a decent result somebody will mention the fact that the opposition were poor! Could it have been that we outplayed them and made them look poor? I suppose the table would suggest otherwise but let’s enjoy a positive result with, by all accounts, some great performances.

Town were good, and made Orient look poor, I'm not trying to down play anything, just trying to be fair and objective. I mean, any one here who disagrees that Orient were poor? Town still did what they had to do, and, as a marked change, did it well.

Firstly Orient tried everything but salop stood firm and produced a great performance and the goals were first class. So my take is that we outplayed them.

Wow that was better. Lloyd was outstanding. What a shift he put in. Perry also put in a terrific shift. Castledine was class. O’Reilly did well. Bloxham scored an amazing goal and good finish for his second. Gilliead did well and put in a good shift. Defence kept a clean sheet so much better.

Best Town performance since Paul Hurst first stint at Town. Sort the defence and we could have a decent team. Castledine and o’Reilly were sublime especially when the linked together but for me mom was Taylor Perry who was excellent in his defensive midfield role. Credit to Hurst on that one….

Think Town getting that first goal was so important to the result today. While we have all been focused on Towns lack of points, but Orient's position in the table must be playing on their minds too, especially with the equally leaky defence and lack of goals. Going behind must have put doubts in the Orient players mind and gave us a boost. Going back to the "fine margins" of past managers had we gone behind we might well have struggled to so that first goal was really vital. Instead its the opposition facing that long, silent journey home after a defeat. I'll be the first to say I was worried we'd used the loan window to get in too many attacking players, and not cover in defence, but the finish by Castledine was a really good bit of quality we perhaps have lacked up front so far this season, and could well prove to be a key point in our season.

It's Bloxham again! Get him in defence 🤣 I did suggest he play at CB. It just shows I know nothing about footbal iv been critical if him this season , I am pleased for him, still has to work on his tracking back though

Thought I was mad paying £52 for two of us to go and watch that today, but was well worth it in the end. Great performance from Town. Orient looked the better side in the first half, and we were a bit passive after the goal, but we stepped it up second half.
Was a bit concerned when I saw Gilliead and Perry as the starting two in midfield, but they both did well. Worked hard and looked tidy on the ball.
Nsiala looks better with someone with (a bit) more pace next to him as well.
Castledine and O’Reilly both look like absolute ballers. Been so long since we’ve had attacking players who are exciting to watch. Both so good at carrying the ball and picking passes. Build the side around those two every week.
Pleased for Tom after his recent criticism as well.
Savin 6 Hoole 7 Nsiala 6.5 Feeney 7 Benning 6 Gilliead 7 Perry 7 O’Reilly 8 Castledine 8.5 Shipley 6 Lloyd 6.5
Bloxham 8.5 Marquis 6.5
