Teams are walking through midfield the same as they did with Taylor as Manager. The same applies to the defence because the two centre halves have no pace. Put a sweeper like Sadler was behind them and that would help. So short of that and putting 11 players behind the ball I don’t know what Hurst is going to do. I can’t see a positive the way we are playing so far.

From the little I’ve seen O’Reilly is wasted on the wing and should play centrally.
What do the regulars think?

Are we allowed to mention last Tuesday? Haven't seen a thread on it. I know it was against Fulham U21's (they had some real talent in there, especially the 17 year old Josh King). But we also at times played some really good football and made me think that we are just a couple of players short (CB's mainly) of a half decent team. Understanding amongst this group will only improve.
Sagoe, after he knocked the rust off, looks really promising. O'Reilly, obviously, looks a real threat.
I was surprised/concerned that Marquis didn't get any minutes though.

My squad on basis both Feeney & Winchester are fit…
I think we’ll see a better performance away from home with less pressure on us. But still feel even a draw will be difficult & a good result for us.
Savin
Hoole (due to lack of competition, needs to improve) Feeney Pierre Benning
Winchester Biggins
Sagoe O’Reily (free role) Shipley (out wide, always struggles through middle)
Marquis (we need his experience at the moment)

George Nurse in the match day squad.
That's great to see.

Some surprises.
Winchester plays Perry over Biggins Bloxham over Sagoe Jnr Feeney fit enough for bench Nurse back on bench
Kayode presumably injured as not even in the squad
Only 6 subs named and 2 possibly not fit enough to play much

Once went to Huddersfield to watch Widnes lose a rugby league semi-final 4-2 and the only abiding memory I have of the day is that I had the best pint of bitter ever! Like angels crying on my tongue!

Really looking forward to this one, but mostly as it's a stadium I've wanted to visit for a long time. Doubtless I'll have plenty of time to ponder our inevitable defensive frailties on my long drive back to Suffolk. Always liked the old Leeds Road stadium one of those sprawling open terraces with flood lights on each corner you could see from miles away. Not sure if it’s still there but there used to be a metal plate on the exact spot the centre circle used to be, in what is now a b&q car park on Leeds Road which was a nice touch when the ground moved Just been to see it, you're right, it's in the middle of a B and Q car park about 400 yards from the current ground.

Terrible challange against Bloxham not even given as a foul. Could have been a red!

Decent start by Salop, well in the game but you can see thier quality.
Left winger a real threat.
