Fairly shocking defending there. Savin calls for it, ball cleared out of his hands, ball sent wide to player in acres of space whose shot is blocked, hurried hacked clearance and then a decent cross and simple chest down and finish!

Bloxham not tracking back , not getting forward , no idea what he's doing , we just had a golden opportunity had he gambled there

Jaysus Navas, why are defending so narrow? The Tykes wide players have the freedom of McAlpine Stadium (l’m old skool) and the number of crosses coming over is ridiculous!

I've never been Bloxhams biggest fan but even so think he's had a really poor start to the season.
Not offered much attacking wise and doesn't seem to have improved positionally from when he came through.
Huge shame as the only youth team player that has come through in recent years.

Looked poor today and really needs to pull his socks up! Commentary even mentioned them! 😂 |

No complaints, Huddersfield deserve to be ahead. Giving them too much space out wide but we have played better since they scored.

Probably should be 3-3.
Town putting in a decent performance in a game everyone expected us to get battered. We are more than capable of getting something from that game.
Huddersfield have some talented wingers that have put some quality balls into the box but overall we have defended very well. So much so they had no idea what to do with the ball so just ended up passing it back.
If Huddersfield are favourites for the league then maybe we are not as doomed as most of here would have you believe.
Special mention for Perry who is having a decent game after not getting a sniff so far.

Bloxham can't read the game of football at all....Hurst given him this chance today to prove himself....Charles sagoe will be on 2nd half...only 1-0,so still in this game

Think Perry has done well so far, Bloxham is offering nothing for us down the right. We are still in this.

Better second half in that we have cut out the crosses but we haven’t created enough. Savin playing really well.

Thought Town battled well and deserved something from the game. Perry excellent, needs to be given another chance.

Much better performance today despite the result. More fluid in transition and a better bite to the midfield. Perry for me was outstanding playing much deeper and worked better with Winchester than Biggins has.
Defensively we are still a shambles at the back, particularly from the wings. Bloxham and Hooley as a pairing does not work.
