Sing when we're losing you only sing when we're losing Do you honestly expect anything else? I know you like to wind people up, but come on things aren't looking great and it's getting worse

Okay, firstly the positives. Errrrrr, that’s it! Secondly the negatives. Jaysus, I could write an entire chapter but life’s too short! Onwards and upward!

21 shots, 1 goal. Some very poor finishing tonight. We should have won that very comfortably. Once again positives to take but losing 2-1 to a bunch of teenagers just adds to the worry.

Losing against the u21’s with our strongest 11 out. Deary me…. Good job we’ve got the finances to sort the mess out before the window closes I don't care how skint we are if we don't bring in some quality we might aswell throw in the towel now.

We just don’t seem to have any composure in any areas, everything is reactive not flowing. O’Reilly definitely best player for us but always facing 2 or 3 defenders.
Despite their ages that Fulham side looked composed and comfortable on the ball, a few errors crept in but they did us fair and square.

I couldn't care two hoots about the game, it's the injury to our most influential player that concerns me.

We'll be testing out the myth that Shrewsbury always excel against the "big" clubs on Saturday then...
Hope O'Reilly and Sagoe Jr have chums at Fulham and have told them it's good to be at Shrewsbury.

All Premiership U 21s will be comfortable on the ball - they’ve been with the club since about 9 years old, and coached that way, and they will be able to get the pick of the young players available. Don’t know why anyone is surprised.

Paul Hurst must be very worried how he resolves this. Clearly errors of judgement with recruitment of his defence.
Players confidence will be rock bottom after this, no money in the kitty, and we have put out a strong reason why loan players should NOT come to us.
Very depressing 😩

Savin saved a penalty otherwise it would have been 1-3 The defence is just a horror show, hope was getting turned to easily, Nisala distribution was just awful far to many forced errors, I like Benning but he was poor tonight a stupid foul resulted in there penalty. It really is not saying much when out of the back four Pierre was the best out of four poor performances, giving no protection to the keeper with two soft goals.
Shipley did nothing in the first half but scored the goal and had a few nice touches but we badly need more from him, Biggins was ineffectual and gave the ball away far to often.
Our loan player number 11 caused thema lot of problems , electrifying pace and good in the ball, but the distribution was Inconsistent, he was signalling were he wanted the ball on the ground in front of him, he really worked hard but should have had more support, o Reilly had a good game, Lloyd header forced a good save, town created a number of chances but there was a lack of composure and clinical finishing in the last third
during a goalmouth scramble I thought the ball went over the line but the ref did not see it from were he was and the lino missed it.
Town did not press consistently enough Fulham played from the back and we gave them too much time to play the way they wanted too, instead of cutting off he supply by pressing hard and not letting them have the time on the ball
What was concerning was a few heads dropped after there second goal.

concerned by Hoole.
Looks very much like a CB playing RB. Doesn’t seem comfortable with the ball going forward, poor distribution & gets beaten easily.

Doesn’t seem comfortable with the ball going forward, poor distribution & gets beaten easily. here are my comments on him first time I saw him a month ago I'm still not sure about Hoole , might have been better second half but I couldn't be sure who was who over the other side at times , first half he was in front of me , he never passed forward or ran with the ball once , the instant the ball looks like coming toward him he's looking behind him to see who to play it back too , hopefully it's just him settling in

Hoole has just looked lost and totally out of his depth in every game so far, guess he's only playing as there's absolutely no competition for RB.

Well that was dire. Benning gives away possession on edge of our box then fouls their bloke to concede the penalty. Keeper saves his blushes so he then he goes awol leaving his winger in yards of space leading to the goal. Come back Nursey asap. Hoole looks what he is - a full back playing 2 leagues a bove his level. Toto as Saturday, distribution so poor. Pierre probably pick of the defenders tonight but that’s not difficult. The two loanees O’Reilly and Sagoe were our bright sparks. Biggins is probably like Taylor Moor - an option off the bench late in a game. I don’t get the Shipley critics, he is one of the few we have that can turn a game and he scored again tonight so that’s 3 in a week. Lloyd is not a natural striker in neither build or finishing ability so should be playing as a No 10 behind the best goal threat (whoever that is)? JJ came on and at least won a few aerial challenges but didn’t threaten the goal. Crowd of 1209 was much as expected, but a dismal night in a cold, biting wind. Would fear for our survival in League 2 if we end up there in May. I’m sure Mr Chairman is probably feeling much like I do: embarrassed. That was simply not good enough.

I remember when Jake King took the reins at the Gay Meadow. He raided his old club Telford for his first signings and a respected Coach said to me, “if you sign too many players from the Conference, you will end up playing in the Conference. I think that still applies now - sign enough from Bargain basement and you Wii end up playing at their level!
