The club are not expecting a big gate tomorrow, West stand is closed! No surprise really, and live on the TV too (for those who subscribe).
How does Paul approach this one?
Same starting eleven as Saturday or does he shuffle the pack as best as he's able given the size of the squad at the moment.

Defo shuffle the deck. What we tried last two games hasn't worked.

Whilst it is nice to progress in a cup, we need to look at how we do in the league and use this opportunity to try and get the tactics, formation and team line up sorted, losing won't be the worst thing but if can get some progress the areas i mentioned then that is more important.

Important we win this and put in a positive performance, against lower league opposition. We don't want a rot to quickly set in...

Try something different and give the bench a chance.
Unsure whether Savin should keep in goal ad its good to establish a rapport with the defence.
Its a long season but I suspect Winchester, Benning and Hoole will possibly be a struggle to rotate. Marquis to perhaps.
Can Trialists play in Cup games?
Young
Hoole Feeney M Toto Benning
Winchester
Lloyd Perry Biggins Kayode
Marquis
Be careful with O Reilly his young legs and energy needs persevering through the course of the season.

We don't want a rot to quickly set in... just a reminder, this is the cup that has again been altered to suit the premier sides, those in Europe are guaranteed not to draw each other when they eventually enter it at the 3rd round stage, the schedule has also been altered to suit them, there is no round prize money until the semi final stage, but there is still a 2 legged semi final, because it the EFLs only card they have left, and after the premier league refused to pay the ÂŁ900M they promised the EFL refuse to agree to make it one leg buy hey lets boycott the pizza cup instead and demand we lose, so we can stay at home and watch the champions league instead and pretend its because we dont agree with what the premier league do

Question is, would it be more beneficial for us to exit this cup as early as possible if we are not rewarded with prize money to avoid the extra games for a small squad or to play our strongest side and get the win to boost confidence?
Starting the season with 2 losses can soon lead to a very poor start.

I still dont understand why the first round game isn't scheduled to be the opening saturday of the season , the only time Ive know it was when we went to Leeds and lost 4-0, I think its a great step from moving from a friendly to the league kick off, must be a reason , probably the premier league are involved

Town fans were mightily impressed (not!) When we lost to over 2 legs the week before the 78/9 season. Didnt work out too bad in the end though.

Josh Feeney has gone back to Aston Villa to recover from his hamstring injury. Therefore a loan space to fill?
