Nsala is useless, Kayode and Biggins a waste of space.

Shocking. Play like this and it's bottom.
Nothing about that was good. The verbals I hope they're getting has to be massive.

Deservedly booed off.
Outplayed that first half by a team in the league below us. No control of the midfield, defensively all over the shop, can’t retain possession.
All the hallmarks early on in the season of a team that’ll struggle.

One more showing like this and Hurst can go.

Well looks like they are going out. Not bothered, but they need a better second half to at least give a bit of confidence. Probably leave the team on to give them that. They don't look like they really know what to do. And in defence especially look terrified.
Benning again one of the only ones that looks ok. Shipley looks totally unbothered.
O'Reilly isn't a wide player. And good lord this defence shouldn't be expected to play out from the back.

Still, I'm assuming the atmosphere in the South Stand is absolutely pumping?

There is no shape, when Nsala gets the ball he doesn’t know what to do. IO’Reilly is the only good plus. Nolan would do well here.

We are not quick enough to disrupt them and they are just skipping around us and laying off to a forward running player. We are passing very slowly, inaccurately and being anticipated in every move.
They punish mistakes and it could easily be 0-4
If I take my glasses off it looks like Tony Kelly is in midfield but no it’s Rossiter.
Let’s hope we have second half like against Charlton all those years ago. We need a goal for confidence soon.

Notts County are using the full width of the pitch and are quick on the break with some neat passing creating openings.
They've also had the majority of the possession.

The defending at times was awful. I can kinda understand what Hurst was getting at after the Stevenage game in that we won't come up against such a physical side like that each and every week and our game might well be better suited against others. However, Notts County have clearly come to play football and yet we're still struggling, we're still second best at home against a side from the division below. Fingers crossed they give us some encouragement second half anyhow.

Boo boys go home. Pathetic. I think if the boo boys went home there would only be about 200 fans left, which is what you’ll have watching Shrewsbury in league two based on the past ten years.

2 defensive howlers punished but we have made chances. 4/5 quality crosses into the box deserved someone on the end of them. Definitely potential in this squad if they can keep there head.

Since Paul Hurst returned, our home form has been dire so I can understand why some fans vented their frustration at half time.

Why are people booing?
Shock at the Meadow as team of aging journeymen put together on a shoestring budget is outplayed by a good footballing side with much bigger budget.

have i missed something or has Savin not kicked the ball long and it stayed in including saturday? Out of play much preferable than some of his short passes To be fair his pass to McGoldrick was something to behold.
