B&A at its best. Saga, carried on too long, a distraction? Really? Local lad is training with us to get back to some sort of fitness. Which if memory serves me right, is certainly not the first time this has happened and it certainly won't be the last. I think this happens a lot within the game with local clubs happy to help out in such a manner when a player finds himself without a club. And I gather if Hurst thinks he could do a job for us this season or at any other time then discussions would start to bring that about (if the player was interested). But I kinda trust Hurst to know if and when that would be the case. That's about the sum of it isn't it? So no big deal.

Nor me - must have appeared in my "fallow" period, which admittedly lasted quite a few years....

Well Ryan Woods didn't run for the whole of the 90 minutes so perhaps there is a place for someone who isn't match fit after all.

Winnie desperately needs a quality midfielder alongside him. Hinchy is not up for the rough and tumble of L1 and Perry does his best but quality wise he is lacking. Woods showed last night that an older head can conserve energy by picking and executing the right pass - oh for a Tony Kelly in the current side. Jack Price has made a good living at a decent level and could help us through tricky (worrying) times.

Thank goodness that's done and dusted.
Now comes the real test of how much he will actually contribute to our fight for survival.

Hurst says Jack is someone who has played at the highest level.
Heโs never played in the premier league or internationally

Wow, really not expecting that.... Me neither after I had listened to Paul's Exeter pre match interview. It didn't sound like Price was anywhere near ready for competitive action.

Shrewsbury born. Great lad. MVP and captain of a MLS side for a couple of seasons. No way we get him undwr normal circumstances but I imagine he a) wants to play for his hometown club and b) wants to prove fitness after a long injury.
I only hope he can hit the ground running and provide the leadership he has shown throughout his career cause God knows we need it.
EVERY BIT the potential player Leahy was for us. Let's try and rally behind him and get him to stay longer than "short term" because make no mistakes, if he proves fitness... Championship size teams will be interested.

Slightly odd comments the other day.
But shows the despiration in that area. Expect him to be off the bench for last 20 or so when needed

Think you overplay the quality of the MLS. Billy sharp did very well in brief stint there, and he's come to championship and can't score or get a game now. A lot of the players in that league aren't anything special. And additionally, Price has been injured for a long time, and hasn't been a regular in MLS for a good 2-3 years. Don't think he'd get championship football unless he had a really good few games and proved fitness

Not saying heโs not quality just that his injury, rehabilitation and regaining fitness is taking a lot longer than he thought ( based on his mums tweets in December) likely too late for this season.

Could be, but he could be a seriously good signing if he can regain even 3/4 of his former self. Him & Winchester sitting wets the mouth, could be a very classy defensive midfield unit.
