I thought we had a bright new manager now. We can’t keep blaming Taylor.

Paying the price for poor recruitment in the summer and none in January. We’re not sleepwalking into relegation, we are diving head first into it.

Wouldn't mind getting relegated to be honest. Be the same old struggle again next season if we stay up.
Bin every player off at the end of the season. They are as culpable as anyone else.

The stats for this game look horrific.
What on earth can PH do with this dross, most of whom will surely be released at the end of the season?
Next 3 games will define our season - Port Vale A, Exeter H, Carlisle H.
After those 3 games it's Bolton A, Oxford H, Bristol Rovers A, Portsmouth A, Wycombe H Chalrton A, Leyton Orient H.

But I’m sorry I thought when the new appointment was made all would be well. Instead it’s the same old, same old.
Yes the recruitment looks bad but it seems managers take the responsibility and this should be no different.
Hopefully things wil pick up sooner rather than later and we will return to our proper place of 17th.

Very frustrating game. We made 2 mistakes at the back all game and were punished both times.
Udoh and Shipley were nothing short of terrible. Probably their worst performances in a Town shirt.
Massive lack of composure today, we got in some great positions and had Blackpool penned in there box for sustained periods but we had nobody capable of putting the ball in the net.
Our season comes down to the next 3 games. We need at least 6 points.
Personally I can not wait for this season to end whatever happens. We are s**t and have some poor poor players that are unfit to boot. How O'Brien played in the Championship I don't know. Hinchy will be lucky to have a career in league 2. Udoh is no longer league 1 quality after all his injuries. Baylis is a luxury player that is great on his day but goes missing too much. Shipley needs 10 chances to do anything positive before something comes off. I could do better than Bowman.
I have never thought we would go down this season but after the last 2 games I am really starting to worry. We simply have no quality in this side.

Don’t understand how people can blame Hurst. He’s trying to cobble together a team with an absolutely dreadful squad.

Hopefully things wil pick up sooner rather than later and we will return to our proper place of 17th. Me too. And there was some positive signs in the first few games, and picked up some points. The last 2 games have been woeful though. Created next to nothing, don't look like scoring and possibly even more worryingly seem to have resorted back to hopeless long balls which aren't working. And these aren't top of the table, outstanding sides that town are playing either. Next few games are crucial. If they don't pick up some points, then it's place your bets on town going down

We seem to be regressing after what was a half decent start under Hurst. Appreciate we have had one or two players unavailable of late that might has disrupted things but I can't understand how we could have turned in these last two performances looking to what we were capable at Northampton and Reading.

Whether we limp through and just about stay up or drop back to L2, the summer will prove once and for all whether PH has anything special about him. I hope he has already identified the equivalents of Godfrey, Henderson,Morris, Nsiala, Nolan and Rodman and that RW is prepared to dig deep to pay off a lot of the current dead wood.
I wish I was more optimistic on both counts.

There is not one player there that would get you off your feet.....no skilful wingers,no classy midfield player.....said it months ago..... they're not quite good enough.....feel sorry for dunkley.....a good leader, and trier for us,over the years

GOALKEEPERS None DEFENDERS George Nurse Josh Bailey Declan Hutchings Nana Owusu Morgan Feeney MIDFIELDERS Jordan Shipley Roland Idowu STRIKERS Tom Bloxham Max Mata These are the players who are guaranteed to be under contract next season unless sold or paid off. I'd probably try get rid of Idowu and possibly Feeney. Other than that a great blank slate for Hurst to prove his worth.

Don’t understand how people can blame Hurst. He’s trying to cobble together a team with an absolutely dreadful squad. I don't entirely disagree but most of the core of the squad was here last season - Marosi, Dunkley, Winchester, Bennett, Bayliss, Shipley, Bayliss, Bloxham, Udoh, Bowman. Flanagan too, although not available to Hurst now. These players aren't absolutely useless, and have all looked good at some point over the last couple of years. I reckon several of them if released would stay in this league..

Out of all the dregs Moore lumbered this team with in the summer, Feeney might actually be the worst. Two of the goals at Cambridge were on him. Yet again another goal is his fault today. All he does is shout and get angry at everyone around him. The worst part is we’re burdened with him another year. I really don't rate Feeney, he's league 2 at best. His positioning is abysmal.

I hesitate to ask but do we actually know if the manager will be here next season if the worst happens?
His contract may be to keep us up The chairman may want another change He may just go He may not want to be in league 2 The calibre of loanees may not be so high

So sloppy in possession all afternoon, we really struggled when we got into the final third. Particularly Winchester and Udoh. They had a back three with two sitting midfielders who dropped really deep and we just had no idea how to break it down.
What’s the point in playing Sobowale if we aren’t going to give him early passes so he can take his opposite man on? He’s an excellent dribbler and average at best when it comes to everything else. I think he only had one opportunity to take someone on in the entire match. Compare it to Dembele for them who is a standout dribbler. He kept dropping into pockets and kept receiving simple passes into his feet. And he looked dangerous all afternoon.
Sraha and Benning both played well, but that’s about it. At least it looks like we won’t really miss Pierre too much.

He’s good in the air and he can tackle. I don’t know why he’s always trying to clip long balls into the channels. He simply can’t do it.
