Benning back thank god (never thought I’d be saying that!), Pierre out for the season and Marosi may or may not play. Heard nothing about Hinchey although apparantly he went off injured on Tuesday? Udoh should be back.
Blackpool was a real low point in the season, a truly woeful performance and huge unrest in the away end. Saturday can only be better.
Marosi/Burgoyne
Feeney - Dunkley - Sraha - Benning
Hinchey/Perry - Winchester - Bayliss
Bloxham - Udoh - Shipley
Blackpool are very talented as we saw at their place, albeit very inconsistent hence why they’re not even in the play-offs. I still think it’s going to be a very tough game and a 2-0 defeat.

I'd consider Kennah for the midfield.
I'll go for a 1-1 draw - Bloxham.

I'm worried about this one, hence why I haven't given us any points for this game,I worked out how many points I think we're gonna get,in the remaining games...... hopefully it's going to be enough

Blackpool will be the third difficult game on the bounce, injuries are really not helping on top of the lack of quality in depth. Total overhaul come the summer I'd think...
If you offered me a draw now I'd take it, and it is achievable

I'd consider Kennah for the midfield. I'll go for a 1-1 draw - Bloxham. I also had hoped for a Kenneh return after a bright cameo at home 2 weeks ago, but he was rubbish Saturday & Kenneh & Bennett were miles off it Tuesday night. 4-3-3 for me with Perry & Bayliss either side of Winchester

Aaron Pierre is going to be a big loss.
I wonder if we will offer him a new contract for next season?

My prediction is Shrewsbury Town 0-4 Blackpool.

Blackpool are among the three best sides in League 1 at home but only 15th on away form so that gives us some hope. To counter that though we have not won at home for two months. We badly need a bounce back from the Lincoln performance to get something from this game. I think a draw is the most likely outcome and that would possibly leave us with needing three wins out of our remaining five home games unless we can come up with a couple more inspired away efforts. That sound you hear is squeaky bum time!

Blackpool are a confusing team, on paper and on their day they can match any team in this division, but on other days they are eminently beatable.
I’m going for a nervy 2-1 win

Hopefully back to PH’s favoured eleven for this one, with Sraha in for Pierre. Crucial that Marosi and Udoh are fit to start IMO.
I’m encouraged by a combination of Blackpool’s terrible away form and PH’s scathing post match interview on Tuesday. Town to nick it 1-0.

Think PH learnt a huge amount about this squad on Tuesday night. Let's hope there is some decent response by them on Saturday.

They've lost away at Cheltenham, Port Vale, Burton, Cambridge & Wycombe so definitely nothing to fear. Hopefully we see a reaction following Tuesday

A trip to the seaside isn't enviable, but taking them on at our place is a totally different prospect.
Come on town!

I'm not sure between Hinchey and Kenneh for this one, but I'd go with: Marosi Bennett Dunkley Sraha Benning Winchester Hinchey Bloxham Bayliss Shipley Udoh

Aaron Pierre is going to be a big loss. I wonder if we will offer him a new contract for next season? I doubt it unfortunately. I think the club has to support him until he's recovered but I sense Hurst will go for a different type of player next season.

Anyone know the situation with Matt Pennington at Blackpool. Is he likely to be playing or even in the squad. Not seen him mentioned in any of their matchday reports or as a goalscorer. Maybe not the best move for him. Would certainly welcome him back with us next season.

Won't happen, Hursty will get the band back together, Toto, The Shop Eisa, Gnahoua incoming, and a short term deal for Lufumpa Mwandwe!

The same could be attributed to us though, thats how I'm trying to see it, on our day, we can beat anyone, I get that our days are numbered at present but still 😂

Think he was a regular starter back in the autumn. I dont look every game though.

Blackpool are terrible away so I can see us winning or getting a draw. It's probably more important we beat vale next week though.

What is marosi injury ? I hope he is fit, a very tough game, Hurst gave a very scathing interview after the Lincoln game, so can the players respond? A tough game I will be pleased with a point

They won 4-0 at Pompey but that’s very much the exception for them.

What odds on a Bebenning baby celebration today then... Hoping for a reaction anyhow, I'm sure looking to his post match interviews the players are well aware that performance on Tuesday was unacceptable. So expecting minds to be a little more focused today. Fingers crossed Udoh is back and available again.
