I saw a clip on Twitter (can't find it now) that someone posted last night and it summed this current team up.
It was probably a 15 second clip and from memory it went as follows:
1) Kenneh received the ball with no one around him and aimlessly hoofs it forward 2) The ball was bouncing around the halfway line, Bowman gently jogged towards it but did not make a challenge and their centre half easily won it 3) Kenneh picked up the loose ball but was quickly dispossessed 4) The Burton player goes forward, everyone backs off, he wonders to the edge of the area and gets a shot in 5) Marosi parries, its part cleared but ends up back in possession of Burton as our players watch

If we have any ambition to play out, he should be dropping deep and receiving simple five yard pieces from the centre halves on the half turn and playing. But he never goes looking for it, as he probably knows how limited he is technically. His two shots the other night just about summed him - the pea-roller towards the corner flag with the keeper way off his line, and then the wild slice high and wide from no more than twenty yards out. I think we’d be significantly improved with Bayliss, Winchester and Perry as the three. Do we even need a water carrier type midfield player like Kenneh when we play with three centre halves?

Dunkley looks furious, and Shipley is dragging him away whilst repeatedly telling the fans “we’ll get better”. What is Dunkley furious about? The best part of a thousand fans spent their time and money to go and watch that, and were exceptionally vocal and positive for the most part.

I recall someone on here saying a few weeks back (maybe vs Notts County?) that Dunkley turned and remonstrated at the crowd for singing ‘how s**t must you be we’re winning away’. Also, prior to the video that was circulated yesterday he was already eyeballing fans behind the goal who were only shouting things like ‘not good enough’. He’s the captain and needs to focus on providing leadership to the team not falling out with the fans. I said in the summer without Leahy and Pennington we’d have the heart ripped out of the team and sadly it’s materialised, a real lack of leadership on and off the pitch.

One of the fans has said he was speaking to Shipley after the game, basically asking we have some good L1 players so why are we playing the football that we do, apparently Shipley was just saying it will get better. Dunkley came over and didn't say anything but was staring at fans. Very bizarre to be honest but I suspect he was as frustrated as the fans. He (Dunkley) has put up something on Twitter saying we have to be better and understand fans frustrations

They all got clapped as they walked round the away end. Pretty much all anger was directed at Taylor.

( 1 fan mentioned it at the time and got shot down ) saying that I dont see anything wrong with his first clearance, had he brought it down and been dispossed he'd have been to blame for nt clearing it, as for bowman, not sure what else he was meant to do there apart from take the guy out and get himself a red or yellow card, the only bad thing there was kennehs 2nd part in the play and the tracking back of the likes of sabowale

A League One midfielder receives the ball in the middle of the pitch with nobody within fifteen yards of him. Surely he’s already had a look over his shoulder and is aware of his surroundings, and can simply turn and play? Nope. He just hooks the ball over his head into the air. I don’t even know what to say about his second involvement. Sunday league stuff. I’ve seen more than enough of Kenneh to know that he isn’t good enough to play in midfield in League One.

It's a shame to hear about Kenneh. I always liked him and thought we really missed him when he was not playing. I know he's not great with the ball mind.

You've got to remember that these players are all going to be low on confidence right now. They are not playing as a team so look a lot worse than they actually are. Losing 4 on the trot, the last 2 they know for sure they should be winning.
Cant see any immediate way of righting that apart from getting 3 or 4 new decent players who start performing and drag the rest to up their game.
Big transfer window coming up, for the team and the management. MM are you listening, hope you've got a few aces up your sleeve....

Either that or one of his fellow players should be telling him he's got time and to turn. Or of course he's just following orders, one touch, get rid, none of that fannying about trying to play football

Kenneh isn’t a total dud and had contributed well in some (but not enough) games but with the ball at his feet he’s Sunday league standard. Whilst never ideal wouldn’t be such a problem if there was players around him who were more accomplished, but he’s either playing with Winchester who’s a backwards and sideways merchant, or Bennett who can now only play the game at half the speed of everyone else. It just sums up the lack of fluency and disjointed nature of the whole squad.

Winchester, Perry and Bayliss as a three is the answer for us.

Kenneh would struggle to lace one eyelet on Leahys boots. I agree he's not as good but he has managed 2 assists this season, Leahy managed 4 last season, anyway the debate isn't really about Leahy, it was just to show how typically normal Kennehs clearance v Burton actually was , his 2nd play was very poor, lets leave it there

6 goals and 4 assists in 21 games for Leahy. Quality footballer.
We haven't got a strikers who gets near those stats, nevermind a defensive midfielder.
