One thing I have noticed is the obvious lack of discontent amongst the fan base. 4th loss in a row, terrible goals tally, terrible tactics, terrible entertainment, look like we are nose diving into the relegation scrap yet the fans still clapped the players off at the end of the game. Very unlike town fans who are usually quick to let it known when they are not happy.
That's more concerning than something to be proud of. Makes me think that everyone has given up caring.

We'll be having a new management after the Wrexham game . I've tried to stay positive but we're getting beaten by really awful opponents . It's not worked at all .

Two utterly horrific teams who were trying to play football but will very likely be scrapping to stay up come April and May. I’ve seen better on a Sunday league park.
Thank god for making a day of it as the football is the worst I’ve ever seen. Burton at 6/5 will have the Bank of England chasing me down for printing money
I feel sorry for anybody who saw us in 12th and thought we were half decent. We are a diabolical football team
The worst thing about tonight is burton were terrible. Marosi hardly made a save. And we still lost
We’re going down without change, that change needs to be from the top.
I said this after Leyton Orient away 3 months ago, I feel sorry for Taylor, he’s copping abuse for being Roland’s and Moore’s puppet. Those two should be ashamed, they’re a disgrace
Absolute shambles

We have had horrendous luck with injuries, you can't deny that. But 3 goals in 13 away games and 14 in 25 games overall. That's not down to bad luck, thats down to tactics, coaching, etc.
I don't think he will get sacked after today. Lose the next 2 home games and Roland will be in a very difficult position. Let's hope he can turn things around but at the moment it's not looking good

The only consolation for the evening - none of the bottom 6 won - 4 draws, 2 losses.

So poor and so dull yet again.
Waited 94 mins for a shot on target after 0 against Cheltenham and 1 against Peterborough.
Joint worst goals scored in the entire 92. Comfortably worst goals scored away from home in 92.
Just amazed people continue to travel for no reward at all. They keep the hope going. Fingers crossed for Fleetwood. Yet another poor side to play against. Surely it must get better!!

Fleetwood is a 6 pointer, make no mistake. Win it and we would be around 12/13th place again. Why? Because like last season the bottom half of the table are as bad as we are.

Wrexham is going to be utterly toxic on and off the field, made 10x worse if we don't beat Fleetwood.
Fleetwood is a must win.
Wrexham is a must not lose.

Well, it's been a day that's for sure.
Left Shrewsbury at 11:00, back to Suffolk at 15:00 to drop the kids off, turned round, back along the A14, got to Burton after 7 and a half hours on the road, and now about to travel the A14 for the third time today, I'll be home by 01:00.
A decent portion of chips and curry sauce was as good as it got as goodness me, when this team is bad it stinks the place out, and tonight we were bad. Aimless hoofball, players out of position (I get why) and a team absolutely shorn of confidence and that is tumbling headlong into a full blown relegation scrap. 14 defeats now this season, more than anyone else, and I doubt we've been competitive in many of them.
The thing, yet again, for me, is Taylor's inability to change or even influence games. Pierre and Dunkley up front is Sunday league stuff.
So, if, as I expect, he's given the January window then in all likelihood we've got him for the season but we're going to wake up one day soon in 21st place. Anyone confident we've got a plan for what we'll do then? I'm not.

Not an awful lot came across on the footage that suggested Town fans weren't happy with what they were seeing, from what I could hear anyhow. There were some boos after one of our defenders launched yet another aimless ball up top which simple ran out for a goal kick second half but not much else.
And anyhow, I don't understand aiming anything at Taylor, its the chairman who deserves the criticism.

Not being funny here, but do you think that there is any chance that Taylor will say stuff this for a game of soldiers, I’m outta here! I mean, wouldn’t it be nice for a coach/manager/useless git to just hold his hands up, say he’s sorry and sod off, saving us a few pennies! I live in hope, I guess!

We’re the third lowest scoring side in L2 away from home. Score for fun at home but can’t find the right formula away. Home advantage could just swing it your way and turn around your season. I can see how a Wrexham win could turn it toxic, but likewise a win could be huge for you.
I still see both defences coming out on top next week and midfield being key.

I feel sorry for MT - he has our weakest squad of players for a decade and has had horrible luck with injuries. That said it is very difficult at the moment to see any positives arising from his tactics and coaching. I agree Fleetwood is a must win to arrest the slump and wait for the cavalry (hopefully) to arrive in in the shape of a few decent incomings plus Bloxham back in January. I dont think the Cup game is as important as staying in League 1 even if it is against Wrexham.

Sounds like it was the pathetic display we have come to expect of late. No, I couldn’t be bothered going for obvious reasons and no, I shan’t be going to the Fleetwood game either. There is only so much negativity one can tolerate in life.

If ever a coach and his team need the fans support it's now at this very low ebb.

Regardless of a minority chant I think my point still stands. Usually Facebook is flooded with posts and on here we would usually be onto our 6th argument but it's a bit like yep we're s**t mehh

Matt taylor says we had enough shots on goal to win the game and Jordan Shipley should have picked up player who scored goal. Talks about injuries which we all understand but does not realise how bad the style of football his team are playing and contributes to the total frustration of fa s who attended the game or watched on ifollow. Ian sharps said on radio he felt sorry for the strikers !!

Well it was Dunkley that lost his man for starters.
Looks like he's beginning to crack if he's coming out and blaming his players.
