We usually take a few here and I’d hope this season is no different - £18 is excellent value in comparison to all other clubs, although it’s still £18 more than what watching us is currently worth.
Burton had been in poor form but seem to have turned it around a little by drawing away at Charlton on Saturday and beating Blackpool at home today.
Taylor indicating in his post match interview that both Udoh and Perry could be doubts, so our goal threat might somehow manage to be even less than usual.
Prediction: 2-0 defeat.

We have won the last 3 games up there, and 4 out of the last 5 as well.
So we are due a defeat, but I keep on trying to stay positive.
COYB.

I see a defeat, I'll predict 4-0, that might be funny, I predict goals thread to be bumped, meltdown, Taylor out but not now obviously, Roland need to sell to a billionaire, we need to buy 6 wingers, and world class midfielders, changed the system to one that we win games with, I've got a ticket too ( lol unlucky me ) , torid, boring, relegation, Pyke, Rickettsball, pilch, Micky mouse Roland's desk, updated
I think that covers it
on a serious note, I'm looking forward to my first stop over of the season, hope we give it a good go, I'll enjoy the day whatever, and wont be booing anyone no matter what happens, its only a game of football
come on town

Without a shadow of a doubt, Burton should be beating the likes of us.

Enjoyed last season, dreading this one.
Leaving family in Shrewsbury late morning, heading back to Suffolk to drop my kids at their mum's, then heading up to Burton. Bit of a crazy day travel wise but life would be boring without passion right!?

Usually go to this one and especially enjoyed the 4-0 drubbing last season where Saydee scored more goals in the first minute for us than he had done in the whole of his previous loan spell with them. Cant make it this time but, in a triumph of hope over experience, I am predicting a clean sheet and a late Mata winner for us -its been a good week for Kiwi strikers so far.

If Perry and Udoh are missing, I'd ditch the mind-numbing 3-5-2 (5-3-2) and go with this:
Marosi
Bennett Dunkley Pierre Benning
Sobowale Winchester Kenneh Shipley
Mata Bowman
I know it's hardly inspiring but at least its placing players in their correct positions and offers some semblance of balance. I'd also hammer home the need to play more simple passes and stop giving away needless free-kicks and corners. We might get a 0-0 as a result. Enjoy!

Hats off to you, that’s commitment. i’m going 0-1 with Mata getting his second, a goal mouth scramble on 86. i’ll be wearing my new Salop top which has no voodoo spells attached to it (yet) coyb

Just want to see effort and endeavor from the players as a team. The disintegration against Cheltenham gave the impression some had just been told they would be shipped out in January.

Spent most of yesterday debating what’s the point in wasting the time and expense, but I’ll be there, need to up my Anti Town fan game 😂
Fully expecting a loss again, I’ll go 3-0 burton, and a large dose of reminiscing about a brilliant away day last season

I’ll be there, it’s my favourite away ground.
The feeling going into last season’s away game at Burton was very similar to the current feeling following a terrible run over Christmas. And we ended up battering them. Excellent atmosphere as well, probably my favourite game of last season.
Town to nick it 1-0.

Another gaping hole in your defence. Sounds familiar!! No gaping holes at all , his post was correct , yours was pointless , the side is so imbalanced because we still have more or less half the players on championship wages and most of the rest on league 2 wages if they are lucky , imagine the friction that can cause in any squad , and of course there will be an exodus as we can't afford to keep them , especially when they don't want to play or are injured , the other thing is we are stuck with them until their contract runs out as we overpaid for them and it cannot be matched by anyone who might have been interested , this sort of strategy has crippled some massive clubs, the only positive factor is if the worst happens this season and we go down we can at least rebuild and not worry about players on championship wages in league 2 , crazy risk that should have never happened , makes me shake my head when I hear fans who thought this should have continued , had it done so we might not even be a league side next season

Didn’t go to Cheltenham thankfully and have decided to give Burton a miss. Obviously hop Town can get something from the game but not optimistic….. Anyway will be at the next home match v Fleetwood on NYD which will be a 6 pointer we desperately will need to win.

I think on balance I can't be arsed with this one, which is a shame. Burton's a great away day, with a cracking away terrace and a selection of fine ale houses all grouped closely together. The timing's not perfect for me which is for full disclosure the main reason I'm not going, but they're things that I could move around and reshuffle if I needed to, much like I could have done with Cheltenham. I just can't be bothered too in all honesty.
I did think similarly when we beat them 0-4 last season though, so hopefully that's a good omen for those of you who are going. In fact, one of the only times I've made it there in recent years was one of our only defeats there in recent years, the dreadful one in SR's first game where I think we were one down within about two minutes after Arnold booted one in off their striker's arse.
