In the past I've certainly heard throwaway comments like "if we lost this weekend and it meant that <insert manager> went then I'd take it", but haven't heard anything like that this season. To be honest, I think a lot of fans are a bit confused what to think as the football has been dull as hell but the league position has been respectable. Thats because it hasn’t happened. Only in some people’s imagination. Oh apparently Jamo mentioned anti town fans in 2012 😂 |

5 shots on target in a game we lost 3-0 doesn’t quite make my season highlights. but it did get several tails wagging on here , any defeat does Most fans including people on this board are desperate for wins and attractive football starting tonight please |

I haven't met fans who want us to lose and it is because most fans want us to win and to play better football that they express criticism of the current set up and style You criticised a lot last year and this year the style is even less pleasing to the eye (so far) |

Things are pretty ruff at the moment. The team should have their tails between their legs after the dog's breakfast at Cheltenham.
But to get rid of the new new hierarchy, only put into place last summer, would be barking mad.
Yet still posters keep digging up the same bones of contention.
If I had a pound for every post criticising the management I'd own Roden Dogs Trust kennels.
So perhaps we could cut down on giving them such a woof time and let them prove their Pedigree chums.
Remember, every dog has their season.

I’ve always believed in giving a new manager a decent amount of time to show what he can do, 18 months at least. Obviously that could be damaging if the guy is a complete duffer but with the qualifications needed these days there will be few, if any, useless candidates.
I think Taylor has been unfortunate with injuries and budget limitations and has not been able to get the team playing as he would want and has not had the chance to get his own players in.
Players will be unhappy with losing and I don’t see any merit in denying them time with their families on Christmas Day.

The whole club is having to work hard to bail out yet another RW **** up.
How many more woeful senior appointments? How many more potential investors are we going to tolerate him falling out with?

Taylor has to be sat down and told the magnitude of the Wrexham game.
To sit back and watch them play simply will not be tolerated. They're in the division below us, we have to try and exert dominance over them.
It's a "must not lose" game for many reasons, take note Matty.

And I note that you have ignored the point that ‘ then the current management arrangement has to be done away with’ by which I am not in any way saying Taylor should be dismissed, rather he should be allowed overall control of recruitment, tactics, team selection et al, which I strongly believe not to be the case currently. As for the blinkered despot at the top. I wasn’t referring to RW. I will ask you again. Show me where Town fans are saying they want the team to lose a game..any game? If you can do do then it would be helpful to the debate. |
