Time is ticking for any further ins or outs at the GM. Window closes on Monday.

I’m taking the probably completely wrong assumption that, if we’ve let Cummings go, someone must be coming in. Probably a completely wrong assumption.

It seems Wigan have joined the hunt too for Grigg. If they sort a takeover out then I can see him choosing them, but that is a big if.
Personally, I'm not that fussed if Grigg comes, getting a right wing back is more important in my opinion

Reports in Oxfordshire suggest Grigg might be on his way south to OUFC too.
I think if either Wigan or Oxford are interested he might favour them over us. Can only think geography might be in our favour due to being that bit closer to his roots in Solihull.

Was Karl Robinson manager of MK Dons when Grigg played there?

Shrewsbury to Solihull - 62.1 miles Oxford to Solihull - 63.4 miles Can’t see location being an advantage on this one if it’s between us and Oxford.

Lee Johnson said if they dont sign a striker then Grigg won't be going anywhere and he's still got 18m on his contract there.
Funnilly enough Shrewsbury & Oxford are both 60 miles from Solihull

Well if he comes, he comes, if doesn’t blow him. I’m not blowing him.....very distorted view of how you would try and encourage or punish for turning us down

Quite as I say if he comes, he comes. If not we’ll survive. There are far more important things to worry about at the moment.

Don't think that will happen either, Burton Albion submitted a bid for Bowman only to be turned down, Exeter want to keep their man.

So we have let Cummings go before we have backup, last minute random striker being announced on Monday around 10pm.
We didn't want to pay 50k for Millar but we have put a bid in for a 29 year old with no resale value?

He's been around a bit. Saw him play for Motherwell a few years ago with Lionel Ainsworth.

Sunderland have had a bid rejected for Ross Couny Striker Ross Stewart. I'm beginning to think the Grigg signing is looking more and more like a no goer. Personally, i think we should move on and look elsewhere because I'm worried with Cummings going that if we aren't careful we are going to end up a little light up front.

My take on it is that Sunderland are playing games and are looking for a club that will contribute more than what we are offering in terms of his wages, gut feeling is we are not willing to offer enough and they want more to offset the loan

We have been down the "established striker " route so many times and the best value has been with the Whalleys and Udohs of this world. Give Gavin Cowan a ring and see who he reckons is hot down in that league, or bring in a young loanee.

Read into this what you will but Sean Goss's family members have just tried to join the Salop Facebook group. I might be adding 2 and 2 and getting 72 but I read that as they are wanting to see the reaction to his departure.
