Any rumours or TWOTS yet? Where are the priority needs in the squad and are we looking at lots of ins and outs?
Will we be keeping Pugh and Daniels? Will Millar be kept too?

Daniels is ever present and key to resurgence, Pugh may go. I thought they would both be on their way but Daniels has kept Golbourne out of the team so I'd agree he's likely to be offered a new deal. Would expect Cummings & Love to go and then perhaps some of the loan players who haven't had much of a look in (assuming we can send them back). Hopefully can make Millar a permanent signing.

I think it'll be a case of more outgoings than incomings. Most fringe players will leave if we get a favourable offer, can't see many of the loans staying either.
This season is about just staying up primarily after Ricketts start.

To ensure we've good quality cover in central defence, another central defender who can challenge back 3 for a place and have potential to be better then current back 3.
Always felt we've been short in quality should one of the current back 3 gets injured, is suspended or who's form drops.

Mendez-Laing current,y without a club, although I think his wages will be out of our reach, he’s still only 28...but left Cardiff under a bit of a cloud.

I think Cummings is staying to have the best time of his career with Wilbrahams help. Either that or he's going to sink lower down the football pyramid and waste his talent.

High, Iliev (if not already gone), Fossey and Zamburek should all be returned to their clubs if possible. I don't think Pugh has done enough to stay and if we can get rid of Love and Clarke then that would be a bonus for me too. That should free up some space for Cotterill to bring in some much needed competition. I'd love Miller to stay and Cummings is worth persevering with if SC is willing. Who knows, if the recruitment goes well we could be troubling the top half?

Surely it’s au revoir to the enigma that is Jason Cummings Is he that much of an enigma? A player with a large amount talent and high ceiling whose career at Shrewsbury has been wasted through a lack of fitness and drive to reach his potential. It’s sad to see but there’s plenty of players like him in this league.

After last night's performance I think we should be getting some of our own players to sign extensions - Norburn, RSW, Udoh.

Scott High has been recalled by Huddersfield according to the Facebook site.
Can't see much point in Zamburek staying. Iliev will surely be going back. Fossey would benefit from continuing to be looked after by Fulham's medical staff.
Pugh can be offloaded. Love is surplus to requirements. I don't see any future for Cummings.

It’s certainly going to be an interesting window because we don’t know how SC’s mind is working, what he thinks about players or what sort he would want to bring in. We have no experience of a transfer window with him at all.

After last night's performance I think we should be getting some of our own players to sign extensions - Norburn, RSW, Udoh. Norburn is signed till summer 22. RSW is out of contract and has shown his promise again so would love to see him stay. I think Cotterill will use Cummings he's just not had to against the last 3 opponents. If we need a goal on Saturday with 20 minutes to go he'll be bringing on Cummings.

i would have said the most important priority is the same as usual
the keeper has improved ten fold with sarkik back the defence have their shape back the midfield are holding well
just as well the finishing has also improved because a goal scorer is urgently required
7 shots on target last three games, only 2 were from attacking players (whalley)
i think goodbye, cummings & pugh, love/miller, alos a couple of the loanees goes back
maybe a decent loan signing might be our best hope
it will be interest to see what sort of contacts SC has when it comes to bringing in players

Send back Iliev, Zamburek and Fossey. Shift Love and Cummings if possible, maybe Leon Clarke if agreeable to all parties. Let Pugh leave when his contract expires. Loan out Ryan Barnett.
Look to sign Charlie Daniels until the end of the season, and Matt Millar or a replacement first choice wing back. Bring in someone who can cover both right back and centre back, someone to compete/rotate with Norburn and Vela at the base of the midfield, someone creative similar to a McAleney like player who could play in the number ten role, oh and a goal scoring striker with pace who can also hold the ball up. Not much really.
I suspect we might see mainly loan activity once SC has sorted out all the existing ones.

Why would we want to get rid of Leon Clarke? We're going to grind out results this season with forwards feeding off scraps and half chances. He scores goals at this level and is perfect for seventy minutes on the Saturday then the last twenty on the Tuesday if a game mid week. For my January list. Millar and a back up keeper. I'd like to keep Pugh plus an experienced back up keeper.

Given our recent revival I doubt if we will see much in the way of incomings in a notoriously difficult transfer window. I do wonder if SC could use his contacts to get in more of a goal scoring forward on loan from a Championship club - that would be the main area we need to strengthen for me.
