Ipswich Twitter: Ipswich Town Football Club have today parted company with manager Paul Hurst.
We thank Paul for his efforts throughout his time at the Club and wish him well for the future.
I know many will disagree but I would like to see him back here.

John Askey is our manager. Hurst can find employment elsewhere.

He won’t get another Championship job, could see him down the Meadow with another League One club... Quite possibly Bradford as they could well sack their manager (again) or maybe Oxford.

Would only have to achieve a bit of success and he would foook off once more.

Only one of those three I would want back here is Skitty, he is no doubt thinking right now that he made the wrong decision but you cannot deny ambition. With Hurst and Doig it was not that they were ambitious it was the apparently devious way they left the club. I would also have Nsiala back!

Skirt thinks he’s a celebrity, that video of him dancing on the pitch was cringeworthy. Stick to your day job, when you get one.

Expect we will be seeing the little man in the brown brogues summarising on sky a lot until he finds his way back to somewhere like Bradford.

Good manager at a certain level. Wonder if he will thank the best fans he has worked in front of. Or just slither off into the night..... again.

No sympathy for any of the three ex Town employees this evening. Snakes, the lot of them.
Can we also ban people on here for suggesting we bring them back & actually get behind our current management team? The amount of drivel I’ve read regarding JA is nothing short of embarrassing & I’m proud to say I am in the minority that have stuck with him up until this point &, although only one fantastic result, was rewarded Tuesday night. Up the Town.

I know many will disagree but I would like to see him back here. Why? He did very well for us keeping us in League 1 . We should have done better in two finals though IMO. We were up against 2 clubs who had just come out of the Championship and had the resources which we couldn’t match . So, I think we did extremely well just to compete against them in the League . Paul Hurst decided to leave us to better himself , though the manner in which he left was not the best . We have a new Manager who is giving it his best shot . Yes, I am having some doubts about him but he deserves a chance . He has had to build a squad after we lost 9 players . To even contemplate Hurst coming back is utter madness . He has had his chance , Skitt , Doig, Nolan and Toto with him and has failed miserably at Ipswich . No, I would not want him here again under any circumstances.
