you wont players with passion but not as the article suggests who throws there dummy out of the pram when you dont like been subbed. as you say he will need to prove people wrong, one possible concern we also know if defenders think they can get players to react they will needle them till they do or prove that they have got past that.

I guess it's similar to Nolan and Toto who under Hurst showed their ability despite past mistakes, and can Askey do something similar. Asked a close friend who's a Colchester fan about Guthrie and said: Good player, plays with his heart on his sleeves... shame U's management didn't handle it better, would be a good choice.

That's a cracking update from Peterborough to their fans as to where they are in relation to negotiations with players.

I am not sure about that.
It just reads to me like the wheeler in dealer in chief himself Barry Fry, the one who once had nearly 50 contracted players at Birmingham City, trying to Whore out his players like he does every summer.
It is not "agent talk", it is the club itself. It is embarrassing.

We tried to sign grant when Mellon was in charge. I was at the ground and he was wearing a training top having a chat with Mellon in the stands! Not sure why he didn't sign in the end

I wonder if we will go back in for Jermaine Anderson? Possible question mark over his fitness, has been unlucky with 3 long term injuries.

I wonder if the other clubs are happy that he has named them as interested parties or is he just trying to big up those players he thinks he can shift on.
Those specifically mentioned as having had no interest must be thrilled to be highlighted 📢

Peterborough are a very odd club regarding transfers with the amount they share - both Barry Fry and Darren McAnthony just seem to love talking about it. It's like they are playing football manager. If i was in the football business, i think i would steer clear of them both!

Heard a rumour that we might be signing Kurtis Guthrie. He was released by Colchester back in March. I have a dream. A passionate Kurtis Guthrie on the balcony with his arm around Roland, leading the singing, having scored the winning goal to acheive promotion.
