Well personally I'm really disappointed we didn't win that.
Rovers were dog e, worse than Wigan and went to pieces for a while after we scored.
Excellent work rate again with Brown, Nolan and Sads standing out.
Really proud of the team again, and the genuine disappointment on the players faces at the end tells its own story.
Good for them.

Nolan is an absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer.
How on earth has he been bumping around the lower leagues?

Nolan should have buried that chance instead of passing to Payne but never mind, felt we did enough to win but a draw is a good result against a big team and automatic promotion contenders.
Hurst will have a job picking the players up for Tuesday as they looked gutted not to have won.

It's a sign of how far we have come this season that we and especially the players are disappointed with a draw against a much fancied Blackburn.

Another great team performance today I think we had plenty of chances to finish them off !! I'm not one to be negative on a player but I find Stefan Paynes fitness is not on the lever of the rest of the team and I think today he was always late when we won the ball times Whally paced up the pitch and put the ball in the mix he was late arriving !!!, but what a great player Nolan is ? He runs the show his knowledge of passing and making attacking chances is unreal great signing! But good game did feel like a loss on the way out, but what a great team hurst has put togeather and the fitness is second to none.

In my opinion that is spot on , I left the ground disappointed but on reflection ......9 games , 23 points ,unbeaten and top of the league is a decent start.

Glad I went today, even though I was in the home end (nothing wrong with your fans though, first class atmosphere) You have a very good team, probably deserved to win the game because you wanted it more than we did. We only woke up when we brought our three subs on. That Nolan is quality and surely will play higher, also thought a number of your other players played well and there seems to be a good spirit amongst them.

Fantastic match full of entertainment.
Great atmosphere created by both teams supporters Abs and Godfrey outstanding.
Just a shame Payne didn't bury his chance at 1-0 which would have killed off the game.
Still top and only unbeaten team in football league

Fantastic game and superb performance. Entertaining football and true grit & determination...
The most encouraging thing for me was our reaction to the undeserved equaliser. We carried on as before and the game to them, as we had for most of the match. If we can react to today's draw or our first loss in the same manner, I think we'll go alright y'know...

Very very good performance. Decent first half with some quite open play. I couldn't believe how exposed Blackburns defence was time after time. They had no midfielder sitting in front of their back four, and our attacking play was pulling them all over the place. Blackburn came out with a lot more intensity after the break, and were closing us down a lot quicker, especially when Henderson played from the back. But we saw that period off and made them look quite ordinary. They visibly dropped their heads after we scored, however you could see their goal was coming for a couple of minutes leading up to it. Toto could hardly walk, Bolton looked almost out on his feet and Brown was being pulled too far out on the left. Their triple substitution gave them much needed fresh legs at the right time.
If I was being ultra ultra critical (and I mean critical in the harshest sense of the word), I thought that PH left it slightly too late with the substitutions today. However, neither I or anybody else has any right to criticise given the complete and utter turnaround in the makeup of our squad.
Onwards and upwards. COYB

The great thing about today was realising that it was no mega-fluke we were top.
We are there for a reason, an excellent, hard working, positive, team performance. Time will tell if we can keep it going, we looked tired at the end, and hopefully we've got enough strength in depth to cope with tough games like Donny on Tuesday night.
I think they're surpassing all our expectations at the moment and only United, City and little Shrewsbury remain unbeaten!

Mowbray never learns. Made some comment about Blackburn should be doing better than Shrewsbury and it was their worst performance of the season. Trouble is Mowbray lad you haven't played the best team in the League until today have you. Remember him making some disparaging comment when we played Coventry with him in charge. If things don't get better for him I think he will be on his way ,Blackburn faithful aren't at all impressed with him.
Enjoyed the game ,should really have scored more and taken all 3 points but overall we did very well . Just an aside, how much did they pay for Dack?
Our overall improvement has been nothing short of phenomenal , we are a side to be reckoned with no doubt .

It's telling that two hours after the game against a team who won the premier league in recent memory and who have only just been relegated that the overwhelming feeling is one of disappointment. A pretty even game but Town were better overall and to miss decent chances and concede late is always gutting. That said, I always felt four points from our three games this week would be good and we'll lose soon enough I'm sure but while we're positive and while we take games to teams in such a combative and progressive way we'll always pick up points. This side has top six written all over it.
And a shout out to ifollow. A sister living in Europe, a decent vpn, and HD footy from my sofa in Suffolk at 15:00 on a saturday is bleeding fantastic. Paid for as well so not even as if the club is missing out. Happy days. Roll on Tuesday.

For the first time in League one in recent years that I feel we can go up against the bigger sides and not feel out of our depth; either due to the quality of our players or the physical condition of the side. Fitness and the determination of the side is fantastic
We're also aggressive and tackle hard without over stepping the mark as we sometimes did in recent seasons, which is really great to watch. Nothing gets the crowd going more than seeing the opposition pushed back through a hard pressing style by the side.
Blackburn were an odd side as they obviously had quality in the side but looked very short on pace in the side and a bit iffy at the back.
My only slight concern is that the defense are getting a lot of time on the ball, but not really making the most of it. Nsiala in particular is great defensively but his distribution is pretty poor and often led to the opposition getting the ball back cheaply. But that a minor point and more than made up for by their determination

It feels so good to have a team to feel proud of, I don't hold with the sentimental stuff about players loving a club, but this lot certainly play for the shirt.
What worries me is whether we can keep the high intensity going over a long season, particularly as Hurst is apparently reluctant to use his bench. It was obvious that we needed fresh legs after about 70 minutes.

A lot of well known, highly priced and paid players in that Blackburn side really should be beating teams like Town in this division. If I was a Blackburn supporter I would be more than a little disappointed that Town more than matched them. Well proud to be a Town supporter this season.

Dunnfc wrote, "Our wages, our facilities, our supporters dwarf the likes of Shrewsbury so we should expect to beating them". (I'm quoting it as it's written). Then, "There own fans expect us to beat them".
Really?

More nervous about this one 1-1 draw and the run goes on. If I start putting money on my predictions it all goes to sh1 t.

Ogogo was my MOTM, he was everywhere.
Godfrey and Nolan weren't far behind, we have a very good midfield with those three.
Whalley looked dangerous too.
Many positives to take, on to Doncaster now.
